My eyes fluttered open, the light streaming in through the windows slightly blinding me as I struggled to keep them open. I stretched my arms out, feeling the soft fabric of the sheets. As I stretched my hands out, they came into contact with a hard surface, to which I immediately turned my head. My eyes widened as I saw Jeonghan, fast asleep and shirtless, with his chest rising and falling gently with each breath. I quickly lifted the blanket and looked at my body, just to make sure. "Nothing happened, right?" I mumbled to myself as I peeped inside the blanket and quickly covered myself as I gasped, "Something did happen!"

I slowly turned back to Jeonghan, who was sound asleep, and brought my fingers up to his cheeks, feeling the warmth of his skin. I couldn't help but smile at the peaceful expression on his face, grateful for the unexpected comfort he unknowingly provided me. "I thought it was a dream," I mumbled, referring to last night.

"It's not." My eyes widened as I heard his morning voice, soft and husky, causing my heart to skip a beat. "Good morning," he said with a sleepy smile, making me blush as I realized that last night was not just a dream after all. He reached out and pulled me closer, "Don't get up yet." I chuckled softly as I snuggled in closer.

"I think I'm going a little crazy," Jeonghan said as we lay on the couch together, holding each other close so the other doesn't fall down from the lack of space. I turn my head up to look at him, not bothering to pause the movie we were watching, waiting for it to continue.

"You know... It might sound crazy, but do you remember that day in college when we had dinner together in that snack stall for the first time as strangers?" He asked, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips. I nodded slowly, lost in the flood of memories that came rushing back.

"Yeah, after you and your brother argued in that convenience store?" I asked, recalling the details of that day vividly.

His smile widened as he nodded, "You remember!" He gave me a gentle squeeze, "Now that I think about it, I think that was the moment I fell for you."

My smile slowly faded, remembering everything from back then. "Well I found you pretty attractive then, too." I playfully smiled, trying to lighten the mood. He laughed, "Wow, I'm disappointed that you didn't fall for me right then and there,"

As I was about to retort with another sarcastic response, I heard my doorbell ring. I groaned in annoyance as I stood up to answer it, knowing our conversation would have to be put on hold. "I'll be right back," I said, giving him a quick smile before heading to the door. As I walked to the door however, there was a nagging feeling in my chest that something was about to happen that I wouldn't like, and that's exactly what happened when I opened the door.

"Mom..." I mumbled as I stared at the visitor standing on my doorstep, a sinking feeling settling in the pit of my stomach.
