"Shut up, cunt! You never let me live!" Tom yells at me as I let out a frustrated groan, throwing my head back. Tom and I were dating but most of the Ike it just felt like we weren't.

"Ella? What's wrong? Hey, come here." He says in a soft tone as he pulls me into his arms, letting my cry. "What happened?"
I pull away from his embrace, wiping my eyes and sniffling. "Tom and I were fighting and he slapped me." I mumble.
He raises his eyebrows, looking surprised. "He..what?!"
"It's fine though, like.." I mumble, trying to get him not to be mad.
"Don't worry bout it, I'll handle him." He grumbles, softly pushing me aside so he can go in.
"Tom? Why the fuck would you hit her?!" He shouts.
"I got mad, okay?..."
"That's not a fuckin reason. You wanna be a man, don't take your anger out on girls by hitting them, got it? I dont ever want to hear that you did that again." He says, giving Tom a stern look as he goes back out to find me.
"Thank you." I mumble.
He smiles softly down at me, softly stroking my hair. "No problem." He smiles, kissing my forehead.
