Cameron
It has been five days since I and Laroi spoke. I'm currently getting ready for service this morning.
I'm putting on a yellow sundress that goes all the way to my knees. I wear black sneakers to go with it.
My hair is tied in a playful bun, and my ears are adorned with black dangling earrings. I take a look in the mirror, and I'm satisfied with what I see.
I head downstairs to wait in the living room for my dad. I drive him to church every Sunday. It's part of our quality time, although Olivia accompanies us sometimes.
"Good morning Cameron". My dad greets me from behind.
"Morning, dad." I walk up to him, planting a kiss on his cheek.
We leave for church. The car ride is quiet.
"Did your mum tell you that we will be having guests today?"
"No, dad. Who are they?"
" Your mum invited a woman and her son to join our service today."
" That's nice," I say, not knowing what else to say. Luckily, we arrive at church, and relief washes over me.
"Thank you, Cam,"
"You shouldn't thank me, dad. I enjoy our rides more than you know. "
I step out of the car, pick his stuff from the back seat, and follow him inside.
Thirty minutes later, service starts, and I completely forget about the guests dad talked about in the car.
The service is in full swing, and I seem to be enjoying the atmosphere.
My mum goes towards the doors of the church, and my eyes follow her. Moments later, she steps in with a woman, and I conclude that she must be the guest dad talked about. Just as I'm about to turn away, he walks in.
I see a tall and slender boy. He has brown, beautiful eyes and full black hair, and flawless, almost tanned skin. He's really cute.
"That must be the son." I say to myself. He looks like he's not interested in being here at all. I look away before I'm caught staring, but I can't seem to forget his perfect brown eyes.

I really don't want to be here, but mum had to force me. The pastor's wife comes to welcome us, especially, which I feel was really unnecessary. I stand behind as the two women in front of me exchange pleasantries.
"Hello, Mrs Pierce." I greet her as soon as I get the chance.
"Oh, hi, young man. How are you?" She says with a huge welcoming smile. I am about to give her a reply when I notice this beautiful girl.
She's tall and slim, fair, soft skin, I can tell from the way it looks, and long black hair. She really seems to be enjoying herself here, which is foreign to me.
I decided to sit next to my mum. The service has already gone far, so luckily, it will soon be over. I glance over to the pretty girl again, and she seems to be paying attention to the sermon.
I force my eyes to stop staring at her and begin to hope that the service ends already.

Finally the service has ended. As soon as our guests arrived, I was not really paying much attention to the service anymore.
I try to spot him in the crowd, and I catch a glimpse of him standing with his mum as she talks to my parents.
He looks bored and uninterested in their conservation. I would go and try to pull him out, but I decided against it.
After a short while, their conversation ends, and I can tell that they are about to leave. While they walk past, I catch him looking at me, and I feel butterflies in my stomach.
I walk over to them, deciding at least to greet his mum. "Good morning, ma." I say with a warm smile.
"Good morning, dear." She says to me along with one of her warm smiles. "You must be the Pastor's daughter?" She asks further.
"I am. My name is Cameron, and it's an honour for you to join us in our service today." I add.
"Thank you, you're a darling." She smiles. "This is my son, Alpha." She comments, turning her focus to him.
"It's nice to meet you, Alpha." I stretch out my hand to him, and he takes it, leaving my hand feeling small in his.
"It's nice to meet you too." Alpha says back to me.
"Well, we will be on our way now, Cameron." Kiran tells me. "It was really nice to meet you guys, and I hope we get to see more of you." I say waving to her and her cute son.

I get into the car with mum and start the engine. I pull the car into the road and drive mum home. Driving home, I still can't stop thinking of her.
Her name is Cameron. I remember how she blushed when she noticed I was staring at her, and I curse at myself for being so obvious.
The way her dress carefully complimented her body was so distracting. I don't think girls should dress like that to church.
I wonder what school she attends, even though I'm already through with high school. I would love to see her again, and I don't know if we will be going to her church often.
I'm now scolding myself for not getting her number. She surprised me by coming to talk to us, being all polite to my mum and I.
Her standing in front of me was a gift. She's even more beautiful than I thought and the way she speaks. Wow.
I have to find a way to meet her again, and maybe get her number this time. My line of thoughts is interrupted as my mum thanks me for the ride home, and I realise that we have arrived.
"Hey,mum,"
"Yeah."
"Are we going to be attending service at God's House often?"
"Emmm....well, I don't know. Why are you asking?"
"I'm just a little curious, and it was a nice service too,"
"It was, wasn't it?"
And with that, she walks into the house, leaving me outside with my thoughts. Eventually, I go in to find something to do to take my mind off Cameron.
