Y/n's POV
The night before at the Hog's Head had me so hot and bothered, I barely slept at all when we eventually made our way back to the castle. I was so tempted to follow Sebastian back to his dorm to spend the night with him, but I wanted our first time together to be more special than a sloppy midnight romp after a heated exchange.
I got up early and went down to The Great Hall for breakfast with Violet and Grace. As we were just about done eating, a sleepy-eyed Sebastian came strolling into the Hall with Ominis, his hair messier than usual. So cute.
His face lit up when he saw me, I beamed back at him.
"Good morning, gorgeous girls," he addressed the girls and I, leaning in to give me a peck on my cheek, his hand resting on my lower back as he did so. He blew a kiss to Violet and then to Grace as well.
"Good morning sleepy head! May I serve you some breakfast?" I asked, already grabbing a plate and loading it up for him.
He slumped down on the bench beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me in so my head was on the side of his shoulder, laying his head gently on mine.
"Always taking care of me, aren't you?" he sighed happily, rubbing my arm.
"That's wifey material right there, Seb," Violet smiled cheekily, pointing her fork at me. "You should consider locking that down."
He laughed, "Ha! I wish!"
After breakfast, we all headed out to the grounds to soak up the sun on what was likely going to be one of the last sunny days, as the summer had come to an end. It was the first day of Autumn, and the air already had started to turn a little crisp.
"Wanna play Summoner's Court?" Grace asked excitedly.
We all agreed, and flopped down on the ground, taking turns to play.
By around noon, Hunter and Austin joined us.
"Where were you guys this morning?" Violet quizzed them.
The boys had been helping to set up for the movie night that was to take place that evening – Hunter was fine tuning the audio, and Austin had been helping with the screen.
"You should see how The Great Hall has transformed, you guys. It looks sick," Hunter shared excitedly. "All the long tables and benches were temporarily Evanesco'd to make space for a shit load of comfy floor seating. Professor Weasley conjured these long, low sofas in rows, there are cushions and blankets everywhere."
"AND the Professors decided we could have a double feature," Austin added, "So once the first movie is over, all the first to fifth years are going to piss off so the sixth years and us seniors can watch something with more gore. YUSSS!" He pumped his fist in the air.
"Great, well I hope you all enjoy yourselves tonight," Sebastian grumbled.
I couldn't hide the disappointment in my voice, "You're not coming?"
"Can't." he replied.
"Why?" I asked.
"Detention!" everyone answered me, in unison.
***
That afternoon, on my way back to my dorm to get ready for the movie night, I literally ran into Garreth.
"Ow! Oh, y/n, hey!" he beamed, reaching out to hold me steady from our impact. "Excited for movie night tonight?"
"Hey Garreth, yeah, it should be good. Listen... do you have a moment? Can we talk?" I asked nervously.
