3rd PERSON POV

The following evening after dinner, Sebastian and y/n walked down to the library together, hand-in-hand, to attend the detention session Madam Scribner had slapped them with the previous day.

"Sebastian, what are we even expected to do during detention?" y/n asked. She had never had detention before and was feeling a little nervous.

"I'm not sure what Ol' Scribner has on the agenda for this evening, but she usually only keeps me for an hour or so. Writing lines, dusting shelves, putting books away... that kind of thing. Are you alright, love? You seem a bit... anxious," Sebastian asked y/n, his voice peppered with concern.

She looked down, embarrassed, and admitted to feeling uneasy about being dragged into detention as it was her first time. Sebastian apologized profusely for getting her into this situation in the first place. Before she could respond, Madam Scribner greeted them at the door of the library.

"Ah, on time for once, Mr. Sallow. Perhaps Miss y/l/n is a good influence on you?" she said wryly.

"Absolutely she is, Madam Scribner," Sebastian said in his sweetest voice. "She has been a huge positive influence in my life. Did you know she's even been tutoring me during her own personal time? She's the smartest witch in school, so I consider myself extremely lucky. She really doesn't deserve to be punished in detention... is there any chance you would consider allowing her some leniency and let her go? I'll serve double the time in her place..." he pleaded.

Y/n's heart melted at the way Sebastian always seemed to put her first. Here he was again, taking one for the team in the library, just like he did in 5th Year.

Scribner's face softened, she always had a soft spot for Sebastian Sallow.

"I commend your efforts to eliminate Miss y/l/n's punishment, Sebastian, but you won't be able to charm your way out of this one. It takes two to tango, and unless she can tell me that you kissed her against her will, then she will be joining you in detention this evening."

Y/n quickly jumped in, "No Madam Scribner, Sebastian did not kiss me against my will. We do apologize for disrupting the library and agree it was not very proper of us. We were just... swept up in the moment," she smiled softly, gazing adoringly at Sebastian.

Madam Scribner's face softened even further. "Ahh, young love. I was in love once..." she looked off into the distance, silence fell among them. Y/n and Sebastian sneaked a glance between them, trying so hard not to burst out laughing.

"Alright then," Scribner finally continued, "I shall go easy on you two. Follow me."

She led the pair towards a long table with bench seats, in front of her desk. "Take a seat. NOT side-by-side, you can sit opposite each other. You can have some quiet reading time, some time to reflect. I will gather some books for you." With that, she left to peruse the shelves.

Y/n and Sebastian removed their robes, and took their seats at the table. Being forced to sit in silence, facing each other, not being able to touch, was already causing some sexual tension between them. They gazed daringly into each other's eyes. Sebastian's eyes flickered down to y/n's chest, he was basically undressing her mentally. Y/n looked around, noticing Scribner was off with her back turned to them, she looked back to Sebastian, holding his gaze as she slowly unbuttoned her shirt. Sebastian's eyebrows raised, he bit his bottom lip as y/n whipped her shirt open and closed, flashing her tits – she wasn't wearing a bra. Sebastian inhaled sharply, he looked like he had stopped breathing. Y/n chuckled quietly as she did her buttons back up, but left a few undone for Sebastian's sake.

Scribner returned with a stack of books each. "Here you are, dears. I thought these might be of interest to you." She smiled sweetly, and took her place at her desk in front of them. Y/n and Sebastian both grabbed the first book in their stacks, barely registering the titles. They knew they wouldn't be able to focus on reading at all, glancing up at each other from time to time as the clock ticked, smiles tugging at the corner of their lips.
