The moon was beautifully shining bright with the stars along with it. Everyone had already fallen asleep during the early hours of the night, and to tell the truth, a specific elven princess was not happy about it.

Standing on the large balcony is a young elleth with long midnight blue hair, almost black. She was helplessly staring at the moon, hoping for any sign of all of this to be different in the future, but nothing. A helpless sigh escaped her, tears brimming at the corner of her eyes.

  “Zira?”

She quickly wiped away her tears and turned her head slightly to see her older sister standing by the doorway to the balcony.

“Hey, Kiara.” She softly said in a mere whisper, but her sister heard her loud and clear. A sigh left her lips and walked to her right side.

  “Are you alright?”

She didn’t speak a word, but her emotions betrayed her as a stifled sob escaped her as her hand covered her mouth to prevent herself from crying.

“Hey, hey. Shh, shh.” She quickly took her into her arms which gave Zira comfort, and she broke down crying with quiet sobs. Kiara whispered comforting words to her while softly brushing through her unique hair.

“Everything’s going to be okay. I promise.”
