Two years later

I brush my hair that had gotten longer over the past two years. My divorce was finalized last year and my ex husband married his man whore two weeks later. Me? Still single but.... I'm very sad. I spent most of my college years dating knuckles and married right after. That was probably our biggest mistake. So being back in the dating pool at only 26 years old is hard now.... I mean I work, sleep, wake up and do it again. Especially since being promoted to head of security. Sigh. I set down my brush and lean back into my chair just looking at myself in the mirror of my vanity desk. I look at the wedding picture of Amy and Silver then the family picture of Sonic and Blaze with their son Spark on his first birthday. I wish I had a man in my life or fuck even a woman because I hate being alone.
Buzz buzz buzz
I look down seeing my phone screen lit up and saw Blazes number on text.

Blaze: Hey girl open the door I promise you won't regret it.

I felt my brow raise then get up and walk to my apartment door. Once I opened it I saw Amy, Cream, and Blaze smiling with bottle of wine, movies, and snacks. "Figured you want some company" Cream smiled. "Yeah! And you can't say no" Amy said as they all walked in. I love them so much. "Also we have the best birthday present for you" Blaze said as she opens the wine. "Well we called your boss and he agreed because the next three weeks starting next week we are packing up and going on a girls trip!" Amy clapped and I couldn't believe it. "And it's to Starlight Beach!" Cream squeaked. "ARE YOU SERIOUS I ALWAYS WANTED TO GO!!!" I yelled in excitement and we squealed together in excitement until I heard my neighbor stomping on the floor. "HEY CALM DOWN PLEASE!" He yelled. "SORRY HANK!" I replied and we smiled and quietly cheered.

I can't wait!
