The Date

I was so nervous that I was checking myself in the mirror for the ninth time. "Rouge relax you look stunning" Cream said handing me my black purse. I smiled thanking her as I took my purse. I look at myself one more time seeing my floor length black dress that hugs my body and has a leg slit showing my leg and my black heels. I did look stunning. I smile and start walking to the door while readjusting my long black gloves. The girls give me a thumbs up as I opened the door and walked out. "I have such great friends....." I thought as I walked to the elevator and dusted my dress. The elevator lets out a ding noise and I looked up as the doors open. My heart jumped when I saw him and he look at me then down my body then back up. He was in a full black suit with a white button down shirt and a black bow tie and I could smell the expensive cologne on him. "Talk about fate huh." He smiled and I walked in. "Yeah" I blushed brushing back a piece of my fur. "You look absolutely stunning tonight Rouge" he smiled and kissed my hand. "So do you Shadow" I smiled. We reached the first floor and he extended his elbow. "Shall we?" He smile red eyes glowing. "Yes" I said and looped my arm around his. We walked through the lobby and I felt eyes staring at us in envy. I did see a few women glaring at me in jealousy but I flip my hair gracefully as we walked outside to a limo. "Oh my is this?" "Our ride yes unfortunately my job arranged for me to travel by limo while I'm here." He explained and I nod. The driver gets out but he waves him back into the car and opens the door for me. "Ladies first" he said and I smile as I enter. "My god he is such a gentleman" I thought smiling as he gets in. "Shadow I will apologize if the limo isn't cleaned out all the way your brother and sister in law got a little to crazy back here." The driver said. "Guess that explains the thong....." I said noticing the black lace fabric hanging on the corner light. "I wish you told me that Terrence but please clean it after tonight my friend will be using this tomorrow to take his family to the water ski park." "Yes sir" the driver nods and starts driving the large car. "I'm so sorry" "It's ok" I smiled. During the drive he asked about my life and I told him about my ex husband. "A man that would do that to you isn't worthy of you." He said in the most comforting tone. "So shadow we're you ever married?" I asked as I sip on the wine that was in the limo. I was engaged once but I found out she only wanted me for my money so I broke it off. Since then I been cautious about who I date. When you saw me at first I wasn't in my best clothes and yet you still talked to me. I mentioned the black tie restaurant you didn't doubt me. I offer you a very expensive gift you declined it and want to get to know me before accepting anything." He said. "Well I appreciate money and the work that goes into it. I grew up rich to be honest but my parents taught me to not be materialistic and work hard. I'm currently a head security guard at one of the biggest corporations in the city." "Oh really? What job is that?"  "M. Corp" I said and he froze. "You work with my father then. Mephiles right?" "Yes wow." I smiled. "Small world" he smiled. "We're here sir" "thank you Terrence"
The rest of the night went so blissfully well. We had amazing seafood, waltz, and he and I watch the sunset where my heart was just overwhelmed with joy. I was sad when it ended and we rode in the elevator. "Can I see you again?" He asked and I nodded. "Yes" I smiled and gave him my number and I got his. "Now will you accept this gift" he smiled and I nod. I open the box and saw a simple silver bracelet. "It's beautiful thank you" I smiled. "Im glad you love it." He smiled putting it on me. The elevator reaches my floor and he kisses me cheek. "Enjoy the rest of your trip. I'll see you again soon." He said. "You too" I replied.

I walked out and we smiled at each other until the elevator doors closed ending the night.
