I hiss as shadow tabs the hot wash cloth on one of my cuts. "You ok?" Shadow asked. "What happened....." I asked as he wrapped my arm. "You kicked her ass" shadow smirked before kissing my cheek. "I'm sorry I ruined the shower...." "You didn't ruin the shower Scarlet did and my mother." He growled as he walks over to the sink to dump out my blood soak water. "My father is currently having words with her right now" he finished. I looked down thinking I'm causing so many rips in his family and putting him under more stress. "Shadow? Should we really get married?" I asked and he looks at me. "Yes why?" He asked with a scared tone. "Because your mother hates me and I don't want to keep ripping your family apart...." I tear up. He walks over and gently puts his hand on my cheek wiping away my tears. "My mother never approved of anything hell still doesn't approve of my sister in law. She actually hates that I live here and not some extremely large mansion. I love you Rouge and I won't give up on us even for my bitch ass mother. I'll tell you what how about we extend our reception on the wedding day in two weeks like we plan but let's exchange our vows tomorrow morning" he smiled and my heart swelled. "We can call your parents and your friends to witness with our officiant in the backyard. Does that sound good?" He smiled and I nodded. "Then I'll get on the phone now" he kisses my cheek and dials my parents number.
I'm so happy he's in my life forever.
