Birthday

Sunday is tomorrow but my birthday is today. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!" The girls yell happily making me bolt up from my bed. I see a dark chocolate cupcake with lavender buttercream frosting and a candle. "Awwww girls thank you" I said and blew out my candle. "So we got the whole day laid out. First we have breakfast at Drizzles, then shop at the outlet mall on the beach, rage room, and finally beach time before dinner at Vic's" Amy said. "Sounds like a plan to me!" I smiled. We all got dressed for the day I look at myself in my new white and coral blouse and light blue jeans that matches my new sun hat. I slipped on my tennis shoes and fixed my hair and makeup. "Tada!" I said posing. "FABULOUS!" They said and we leave the hotel room. As we enter the lobby I see shadow with a man and holding a child in his arms. "Uncle shadow can we please go find sea shells?" The child asked. "Later ok your dad and mom want to go to breakfast" he chuckles. "You spoil her bro" the other hedgehog chuckled. "Hey I'm a rich uncle it's my job." He laughed. "And I'm a rich dad" the other laughed then saw me. "Hey is that the girl you told me about?" He asked and shadow turns and smiled. "Yeah, hey Bebe give uncle a sec ok?" "Ok" she smiled and he puts her down before walking up to me. "Hey I'm glad I caught you look I know it's werid but here. Happy birthday." He pulls out a small box with a expensive label on it. "Oh shadow I can't you hardly know me I can't take a expensive gift from you." I said pushing it away. "I insist Rouge please it's your birthday and I don't mind at all because birthdays are special." He puts it in my hand. "Still it's expensive and—" "you fear if the date doesn't go well it'll make you feel guilty?" He said and I nod. "Fair enough I didn't think about that. I'll give it to you tomorrow if the date goes well you accept it ok?" He smiled and I nod. "Thank you I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled and he kisses my hand before walking back to his brother who had a impressed look on his face. I turn to join the girls and over heard him telling shadow something. "I think you might've found a genuine humble woman and not a gold digger I approve little brother. She's perfect." That made me smile because he's right I'm not a gold digger. Mostly because I grew up rich but I was raised to appreciate money and not be materialistic.
Later on I plop on the bed after an amazing day. The rage room was definitely what I needed and I felt so much better. Now tomorrow came to my mind and I was nervous.
