Diamond Brown

"Nah I'm cool. I'm hanging with y'all today." Tj spoke. "Didn't you say you don't hang with tj and nem no more." Niani spoke.

Diamond was so uncomfortable. She glanced at Niani and shook her head. "I don't." She mumbled.

Niani laughed as Tj pulled Diamond against him. "Tj I need you to do something for me." Diamond turned to him. "Wassup mama?" He leaned down.

"You wanna go in there?" Diamond pointed to forever 21. "Yeah why not. Ion wanna watch yall fuck." She mumbled. "Okay we're going to the food court." She waved her off.

Diamond pulled tj with her to the food court. They slipped into the family bathroom and she spoke.

"You freak-" she cut him off. "No. Tj do you really love me?" She asked but all that played in his head was girl of my dreams by Chris brown.

"Yeah." He nodded. "Well I need your help...so the lady....Destiny's mother. The girl that we jumped the day I went to jail and symone died. That's destiny. Destiny's mother is trying to get me locked up for murder. She's saying I'm basically responsible for her daughter's suicide since symone can't be charged although I didn't touch her face. I need you to....please convince her to shut it down and when she does then yknow." She spoke.

"You want me to kill her?" He asked. She looked around the empty bathroom and slowly nodded. "Not until you scare her into dismissing the case. Then kill her." She spoke.

"Alright. You do know if I get caught in looking at a life sentence and Ian gon snitch but it all might lead back to you anyways." He spoke.

"Yes I know Tyrone." She spoke. "Take her out however you want but don't be messy about it. Be organized and smooth about it. Don't tell any one. Not even meech and Laila and them. As far as they know we still aren't talking okay?" She spoke.

He nodded before pulling her into a hug. "I got you."

"Can I fuck?" He pulled away and asked. "No." She spoke as she unlocked the bathroom door.

"So with all the evidence you provided...i Think this should be an easy win. We have more than enough evidence and logic to prove that your not responsible for her death. The only way someone could be charged with assisting suicide is through force , deception or duress and from what I'm hearing you have never even held a full conversation with this girl. You'll be just fine." Mardrith explained.

Diamond nodded. "Thank you. I can pay you-" mardrith cut her off. "No thank you diamond. Your a very sweet girl and I just want to see you thrive, so there's no need to pay me." She hugged diamond as they stood up.

"Thank you so much." She spoke. "Of course." She smiled. They left the office and went their separate ways.

Diamond immediately dialed TJs number. He answered soon. "Wassup."

"Yeah remember what I asked you to do earlier? Just don't do it. I just met with a lawyer and chances of her winning the case is slim. Very slim. Like 1 outta ten. Just leave it alone." She spoke.

"Alright mama. Can I come see you?" He asked and she just hung up. She pulled off and headed home.

When she arrived she sent a text to Marcus letting him know that it was okay for him to stop by now.

She began to cook just because she was super hungry. It was dark outside now and Marcus was on his way.

Howie laid by the kitchen entrance as she cooked.

She was done in almost an hour and a half. The doorbell rang catching her attention. Howie barked and walked to the door.

"You need to run. Your overweight." She mumbled as she opened the door revealing Marcus. "Wassup girl." He smiled.

"Hey." She smiled as he walked inside. He greeted her with a hug as she shut the door.

"It smells good in here. What you cooking?" He questioned. She smelled his cologne but the smell of food drowned it out.

"Red beans and rice , cornbread, Mac and cheese and fried fish." She spoke. "Oh okay. You cooking like a real Texan. I guess you serious bout moving there." He chuckled.

"Texan? I heard this was popular in Louisiana. That's why I cooked it. Since you miss Louisiana so much." She spoke turning to him.

"You cooked for me?" He asked. She nodded with a smile. "It is a Louisiana thing. Thank you diamond." He smiled wrapping his arms around her.

He placed a small kiss on her forehead making her smile as she looked up at him. "You beautiful girl." He spoke. "Thank you." She smiled as he stared at her lips.

"Are you gonna kiss me?" She questioned. He chuckled lightly before kissing her lips. He held her close as he kissed her soft pink lips.
