Diamond Brown
+same day

Diamond laid on Marcus chest as he spoke. "I got us tickets to go on a cruise in august." He spoke.

"Really?" She smiled. He nodded. "Thank you. I l- um...thanks." She scratched her head.

He smiled. "You was about to say you love me huh?" He smiled. "Huh?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I love you too." He spoke and he kissed her lips. "You love me?" She asked. "Yeah. I do." He grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"I love you too." She smiled. "You wanna go somewhere tonight?" He asked. She shrugged. "Sure." She spoke.

"Also I hope it's okay with you if we don't have sex or do anything until I go get tested for everything. I'll make an appointment soon." She spoke.

He nodded with furrowed eyebrows. "Come on baby. You know I'm not even that type of guy. Of course it's okay with me. I'd be okay with it if you didn't wanna have sex with me till next year. I still love you. Come here." He spoke.

She smiled leaning over and kissing his lips. "A year?? You can go that long without sex?" She asked. "Yeah. Imma grown man." He toyed with his goatee.

She kissed his lips repeatedly. "I love you." She spoke. "I know you do." He spoke and she furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm just playing. Love you too. Get dressed." He spoke as he sat up.

She stood up and walked to the closet. She grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom and got dressed. She did her makeup because she didn't feel pretty after crying all day.

She walked out of the bathroom and seen he was in the living room. She slipped her shoes on and he spoke.

"You look pretty." He slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her on to him. "Thank you." She smiled.

"Am I....am I making you uncomfortable?" He noticed her weird demeanor. "No I just....I'm okay." She smiled.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "I'm just worried about howie. I know it's stupid but I hope he's okay." She spoke.

"Oh it's not stupid. I'm sure he's alright. He's a big boy and he not gon let nobody hurt em. But as far as ya old friend...who is he?" He asked within a concerned look. She shook her head.

"I can't say anything Marcus. All his friends are..well we were all friends at once. They know everything about me. My parents names and where they stay and where I stay. If I tell on him I- I just think we should leave it alone okay?" She spoke.

"What? Man fuck that nigga diamond. You don't gotta be s-" she cut him off. "Marcus just drop it. Seriously. I don't even want to talk about it now."

••••••••••••

The two sat across from each other at the restaurant. He held her right hand and admired her as she looked down at her phone while they waited on the bill.

"Stay the night at my house." He spoke up. She looked up from her phone and smiled. "Yeah. Okay we have to stop at my place." She spoke.

"Alright." He brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it. She smiled. Soon the waiter passed by and placed the tab down.

He grabbed it and opened it before reaching in his wallet. He handed his card and the waiter walked off.

She sipped from the glass of wine and emptied her third glass before he shook his head and ran a hand over his waves.

Soon the waiter came back with a receipt. "Thank you." He spoke. The waiter smiled and walked off. He placed a single 50 dollar bill on the table and stood with his girlfriend.

He held her hand as he led her out of the fancy and quiet restaurant. They headed to the car and he opened her door.

She climbed in and he shut the door. He walked to his side and climbed in the car.

She leaned back on the seat with her eyes closed. "You tired?" He started the car. "A little." She mumbled.

"You drunk." He mumbled. "I only had three drinks and it was wine." She burped. "I'm not drunk." She spoke.

He threw his hands up before pulling off.
