it's been over a year since hwani and hyunwoo have seen each other.
hyunwoo moved to a diffrent school, and hwani finally got away from her psychotic ex.
but, hwani had to transfer schools mid-year because he wouldn't stop harrasing her.
and over the past couple months, hwani had found a certain anger towards hyunwoo. she was mad that he didn't believe her when she said she didn't kiss him, even though he was there to see the whole thing.
the girl finished putting in her books in her bag and looked in the car mirror. she knew it was going to be a better school, and that she wouldn't have jooyeon there, but she still felt the first day nerves.
but, she was a senior now, after this there wouldn't be anymore first days of high school.
she climbed out of the car with her backpack hanging on her shoulder. after she said her goodbyes to her father, she set off to the gigantic school.

when she put her books in her locker, she looked around for someone to help her with directions. two cheerful girls gladly helped her.
across the hall was hyunwoo. he squinted his eyes to make sure it was her. his heart stopped, and his smile dropped when he finally realized he wasn't seeing things.
hwani was walking down the stairs to her first class when a firm hand grabbed her wrist.
" what the hell are you doing here? "
hwani kept her cool and looked at hyunwoo with cold eyes.
" i had to transfer. "
" are you stalking me or something. "
the girl rolled her eyes and turned her whole body to face him.
" don't be so self centered, i didn't even know you went here hyunwoo. "
" oh sure. "
hwani ran her fingers through her hair and continued speaking.
" what's with the attitude? "
" manipulative cheaters make me mad. "
the girl scoffed and shook her head.
" oh right you still think i cheated. "
" just, don't talk to me, i don't want to speak with you. "
" you literally approached me first. "
hyunwoo got frustrated and began to clench his jaw.
" hey hyun? "
hwani looked at his hand on her wrist and back at him.
