Ch.5 The Deal

Aleu's P.O.V

I wake up underneath a weeping willow tree, I slowly sit up and look around. It was a beautiful day I get up walking along the riverbank. I stop to look out at the river I take a deep breath and sigh. Just then I hear footsteps come up behind me. 

" Why, hello there."

I turn around gasping I see a General Org standing before me he slowly walks towards me chuckling.

" It's good to see you awake Aleu."

" Who are you?"

" I am General Nayzor, there's no need to fear me I know who you are."

" What do you want from me?"

" Straight to the point I like you. I know you're cursed as the Duke Org Zulieka; I know what she can do."

" What are you going on about?"

" I want you to get close to the Power Rangers, pretend to be their friend learn more about them and what their weaknesses are, when the time is right, we want you to take their animal crystals without their animal crystals the rangers are nothing."

" No, I'm not hurting the ranger's and why would I do that steal from the ranger's I would never do such a thing."

" I know you won't Aleu, but Zulieka will, and you have no control over her, she has control over you."

" What are you going to do after you defeat the rangers?"

" The Orgs will rule the world, we'll make any survivors our servants."

" What if the rangers win?"

" We can't let that happen now can we and with your help you're going to bring the rangers down with us."

" What if I refuse."

" Zuleika will do all the work for you then, and when you see what she's done you'll have no choice but to join us."

" Don't forget she only comes out when there's a full moon and how do you know I won't go tell the rangers your plan?"

" If you do then we'll force you to watch as the rangers are destroyed one by one."

I turn back around I don't want to see the rangers get hurt but Nayzor's right, I have no control over myself when Zuleika takes over when there's a full moon, she's in control and if I'm near the rangers during a full moon I fear to see what will happen. I ball my fists I have no choice but to do what Nayzor says I turn back around facing him.

" Fine, I'll do it."

" Wonderful, I'm pleased to hear this, even Master Org will be very pleased to hear this as well."

" It's not like I have a choice."

" Don't fail us Aleu remember one slip up and the rangers are history."

Nayzor turns leaving down the trail I watch as he disappears over the hill, I let out a sigh I don't want to do this I look down at my hands balling them into fists, I begin to walk away from the river heading into the city I look around people go on with their lives I continue to look around I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and bump into someone.

" Oh, I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

I look up and see Cole, he gives me a warm smile.

" Hey Aleu, it's all good no worries."

" What are you doing?"

" I'm looking for my parents."

" I hope you find them."

" Me too, and when I do find them, I have so many questions."

" Any luck yet?"

" No, it feels like I'm going in a circle trying to find them, this is all I got for them."

Cole hands me a picture I take a look, then look back at Cole.

" Hey, I'd be more than happy to help you look for your parents."

" Really?"

" Yeah, of course anything for a friend of Merrick's."

" Thanks Aleu."

" No problem."

Just then people run past us screaming in terror Cole and I look at each other Cole quickly turns to me.

" Aleu get to safety."

" What about you?"

" Don't worry I'll be alright."

Cole takes off down the road, curiosity gets the best of me I follow Cole keeping my distance. Cole joins up with the others I peak my head around the corner I see them facing an Org next thing I know they change into colorful suits my jaw drops seeing them in their ranger suits. They begin to fight a group of Putrids. I was so focused on watching the rangers I didn't notice a group of Putrids right behind me until one of them grabs my shoulder causing me to let out a scream, this catches the ranger's attention, Cole lets out a gasp.

" Oh no, Aleu."

" Get away from her!"

Just then Merrick jumps in front of me, lunar cue ready he jumps up swinging the lunar cue striking the Putrids, the Putrids swing their weapons at him, but Merrick jumps to the side switching the lunar cue to sniper mode he aims at the Putrids he pulls the trigger hitting the remaining Putrids. Merrick turns to me holding out his hand I take it as he helps me up, I can't help but stare at him with awe.

" Are you alright?"

" Yeah, I'm fine."

" Go find somewhere to hide, I'll come find you after this battle is over."

I quickly nod and take off from the scene finding a hiding place, I glance over the wall seeing the rangers continue to battle the Org. The Org shoots out lightning hitting the rangers Merrick and Cole jump up weapons ready they both strike the Org causing him to stumble backwards, Cole then looks at the others.

" Alright guys lets combine our weapons."

The rangers combine their weapons creating a sword.

" Jungle sword, savage slash."

Cole winds up the jungle sword then quickly brings it down striking the Org who falls down defeated turning into green substance, just then Jindrax and Toxica appear I look at them confused what on Earth are they doing here? Just then Toxica waves her staff around. 

" Evil spirits of toil and strife, give this fallen Org new life, yah!"

Beans fly out of Toxica's staff landing on the fallen Org causing him to grow, my jaw drops I've never seen Orgs get that big before. The rangers pull out their crystal sabers.

" Wild zords descend!"

Just then five wild zords appear, the red lion lets out a mighty roar. 

" Wild zords combine."

The wild zords combine into the wild force megazord. Merrick holds out his animal crystals he then swings his lunar cue creating a laser pool table he sets his animal crystals down.

" Wild zords descend."

He strikes the animal crystals sending them flying up into the air the wolf, alligator, and hammerhead appear ready for battle.

" Wild zords combine."

The wild zords combine into the Predazord, I look at both in awe, so these are megazords I watch as the megazords charge towards the Org. They both swing their weapons striking the Org over and over the Org stumbles backwards letting out a frustrated growl.

" Is that all you got rangers?"

The Org swings his weapon around striking the megazords making them stumble back.

" Let's finish this guys, Merrick you ready?"

" I'm with you, let's do it."

" Wild Force mega roar!"

" Predator wave!"

Powerful blasts come out of both megazords hitting the Org he falls down defeated the rangers let out a cheer seeing another Org down. They exit the cockpit and power down I hurry over to them.

" That was amazing."

Max brushes off his shoulders playing it cool.

" Oh, that was nothing to us, kid's stuff you know."

The other rangers look at each other rolling their eyes and shaking their heads. I turn looking at Merrick giving him a smirk.

" So, this is what you meant by you guys being Power Rangers."

" Yeah, pretty neat huh?

" Yeah, it is but, I'm not sure I'm going to get used to seeing you like that."

" What were you doing out here anyways?"

" I actually ran into Cole before he came to help you guys, curiosity got the best of me, and I might have followed him here."

I give Merrick a sheepish smile while Cole looks at me startled.

" That was a dangerous thing to do Aleu you could have gotten hurt."

" Hey, don't no need to worry about me I can defend myself."

Morgan puts a hand on my shoulder.

" Hey, why don't you come back to the Animarium with us, someone wants to meet you."

" Really, who?"

" Come on."

The rangers take me back to the Animarium we enter the interior just then a woman emerges from the pond I look at her bewildered. I slowly walk up to her we both look at each other for a moment her jaw drops.

" It can't be, Aleu is it really you?"

" Shayla?"

" It is you, but how is this possible."

" I don't know, everything is a blur."

The rangers look at each other confused then look back at us Taylor takes a step towards us.

" Princess Shayla, you know her?"

" Of course, I do she's my half-sister the one I told you guys about."

Hearing this the ranger's jaw's drop they look at each other wide eyed then back to us. Shayla takes my hands giving them a small squeeze.

" I have so many questions."

" As do I."

We both take a seat at the table the rangers slowly file in. I look at Shayla concerned.

" What happened after I disappeared?"

" The Orgs attacked, I was brought here for safe keeping I then fell asleep for over 3,000 years when I woke up the Earth has changed due to the pollution the Orgs rose once again and over the years, I recruited the Wild Force rangers to help protect the Earth from the Orgs."

" I wish I was there to help fight the Orgs."

" The battle was going horribly after Animus fell."

" What happened then after Animus fell?"

The rangers turn looking at Merrick he looks at them perplexed and shrugs his shoulders.

" What?"

Alyssa looks at him giving him a soft look.

" Why don't you tell Aleu what you did to defeat Master Org."

" What happened Merrick?"

" Well 3,000 years ago, Master Org defeated Animus in the final battle with the Orgs, things were going very badly all hope seemed to be lost when Animus was destroyed, but I heard tales about a cursed wolf mask and its incredible powers. I went to the ancient city to find it knowing it was the only chance to stop Master Org, deep in the city I found the den of General Org Nayzor and that's where I found the mask of Zen-Aku, just the sight of the mask drew me to its power. Nayzor attacked but thankfully I got out, with Morgan and Princess Shayla safe in the sky I knew what I had to do, I put on the mask, the wolf mask gave me great power it was the power of the mask that allowed me to defeat Master Org but it came with a price, by using that power I was cursed, I couldn't remove the mask and became Zen-Aku."

I look at Merrick tilting my head confused. 

" Zen-Aku?"

Danny looks over at me.

" He was a wolf Duke Org, very powerful one."

" What happened to him?"

" He was destroyed in battle."

" NO!"

Just then I get a splitting headache I hold my head letting out a yell the rangers look at me worried the headache is getting worse I stand up pushing my way through the rangers heading towards the exit Merrick is right behind me.

" Aleu, what's going on?"

" I have to go I'm sorry."

I leave the Animarium heading back to the river I fall to my knees letting out a painful scream.

" HOW COULD THEY!"

" My, my what's this?"

Nayzor walks up behind me looking down at me I glance up at him. 

" The rangers destroyed Zen-Aku, Zulieka isn't happy."

" Don't worry Zulieka you will get your revenge."

Nayzor lets out a chuckled then leaves, I lean against the weeping willow tree breathing hard so this is how Zulieka can use me without the full moon she'll trigger a splitting headache. 

" You won't be able to protect those rangers, I will get my revenge."

" No matter what you do to control me Zulieka, I won't let you hurt them."

" You made a deal with Master Org and Nayzor don't forget it, if you do then it'll be your fault for getting them destroyed. Don't forget I am stronger than you."

Back on the Animarium the rangers and Princess Shayla sit around the table worried about Aleu Max looks over at Princess Shayla.

" Is Aleu going to be alright?"

Princess Shayla looks at Max shaking her head.

" I'm not sure, I've never seen her do that before."

Cole looks at the others.

" Tomorrow we should go find her make sure she's alright."

The others minus Taylor nod in agreement.

" I still don't trust her; I mean how is she alive after all these years? She wasn't put on the Animarium like Morgan and Princess Shayla, she can't be immortal, the Orgs didn't destroy her, how is she still alive?"

Danny holds up his hands trying to calm Taylor down.

" Whoa, easy Taylor we're still getting to know her and tomorrow we can ask her."

" Well, you guys have fun I'm going to stay here and train."

Taylor storms off the others look at each other and sigh Alyssa looks around the interior.

" Where's Merrick?"

Cole looks over at Alyssa.

" He probably went back to Willie's Roadhouse; we'll call him tomorrow to inform him."

Morgan looks over at Princess Shayla.

" Princess Shayla, you alright?"

" Yes, I'll be fine Morgan it's just I wasn't expecting to see my half-sister after all these years."

" Taylor's on to something though how is she alive after 3,000 years?"

Princess Shayla shakes her head then goes back into her pond Morgan turns back looking at the others letting out a sigh. 

Night falls luckily there's no full moon tonight, I sit under the weeping willow tree gazing out into the darkness lost in thought, until I get flashbacks of me finding the mask of Zuleika. Why did I ever put that mask on, what was I thinking? 

 Back in the Nexus, Nayzor stands before Master Org giving him a slight bow, Master Org looks at him impatiently. 

" Well?"

" I believe our little plan is going to work Master Org, Zuleika has Alue under her control."

" That's good news Nayzor,  as along as she gets to know the rangers, they won't know what hit them."

" I told her if she even tries to tell the ranger's our plan, we'll force her to watch us destroy them one by one."

" I have a great feeling about this Nayzor, keep her in track."

" Yes, Master Org I will."

Jindrax and Toxica peak their heads up from behind a rock hearing Master Org and Nayzor talk they look at each other Toxica leans over to Jindrax.

" What if this is another Zen-Aku thing."

" Nah, I don't think it is we have nothing to worry about."

" Sure, we do remember Zuleika was a strong Duke Org before Animus defeated her."

" Too bad Zen-Aku isn't here boy that would have been the ranger's end for sure."

" We'll just have to wait and see what Aleu does."

" Man, I hate waiting."

" You said it."
