Ch.11 The Rescue

Aleu's P.O.V

As I look around, I'm surrounded by Orgs I run past them, but I have nowhere to go they laugh as they watch me try escape. Bell Org walks towards me laughing.

" There's no use of escape, you're stuck down here forever."

Ship Org nods in agreement.

" Yeah, so you better get comfy."

" I don't belong here."

Tire Org snorts hearing what I said.

" Neither do we, we should be up there causing chaos and destruction those pesky rangers always in the way."

" I'm human I don't belong here in the Org spirit world."

Bell Org points at me.

" But you were a Duke Org once."

" No, I wasn't."

" Don't lie to yourself Aleu."

My eyes widen that voice it can't be, it's not coming from inside my head, I shake my head and slowly turn around seeing Zuleika in her true Duke Org form.

" Zuleika."

" Don't act so surprised Aleu, we're both apart of each other remember you put on my mask freeing me and we became one."

" I want nothing more to do with you Zuleika."

" You can't escape me Aleu besides you have no one remember besides I'm sure Merrick will move on and forget all about you after everything that you've done."

" He knows I'm sorry for what I've done."

" That doesn't mean he forgave you besides you're the one who brought us here in the first place thanks to your little sacrifice."

Tombstone Org lets out a laugh.

" Like we said before you better get comfy, you'll be here for a very long time."

Zuleika walks up to me she places two fingers on my forehead I was then turn into a glowing energy ball hovering above the Orgs. Zuleika reaches out grabbing ahold of the energy ball she looks at it letting out a small growl.

" You knew exactly what you were doing tricking Master Org to stab you knowing that it would kill me too, you're going to be stuck here for a long time Aleu. May you be the wondering lost soul now."

Merrick runs to an open field he looks around the others are right behind him. 

" Show yourselves I know you're here!"

Merrick looks around angry he balls his fists and grits his teeth.

" Where are you, I know you're here show yourself now!"

Jindrax and Toxica appear behind them Jindrax crosses his arms.

" Geez no need to yell."

Toxica looks at the rangers giving them a scoff.

" What do you want?"

" I want you to send me to the Org spirit world."

Jindrax looks at Merrick like he was crazy.

" Now why would we do that."

" There's someone who doesn't belong down there I want to get her back."

Toxica narrows her eyes at Merrick.

" Why would we help you, you're our enemy remember."

" If you don't help me, I swear I'll make you-"

Jindrax holds up his hands.

" Alright, alright calm down we'll help."

"No humans have survived down in the Org spirit world for long she could be gone already why even bother?"

" Her souls trapped down there I'm getting her back one way or another."

Jindrax looks at Toxica then back at Merrick.

" Well good luck with the trial."

" What trial?"

" Well since you're going down to the Org spirit world, you'll be put through a trail to see if you can manage being down there but if you fail, you'll be stuck down there forever as well."

Hearing what Jindrax and Toxica are saying Max shakes his head he grabs Merrick by the shoulder.

" Merrick, I don't think it's a good idea."

Alyssa looks at Merrick with pleading eyes.

" Don't do this Merrick."

Taylor looks at Merrick.

" Are you really going to risk your own life for her what if you don't make it back?"

" She sacrificed herself for me if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have my animal crystals back I know what she did was wrong, but I can't let her be down there forever thinking I hated her.

Morgan walks up to Merrick putting a hand on his shoulder.

" If she means that much to you, I'm coming with you."

" No, you're not."

" You love her, don't you?"

"More than anything."

" I have a feeling you're going to need help I'm not letting you do this by yourself."

Cole walks up to Merrick giving him a nod.

" Count me in as well, I'm willing to take the risk."

Danny looks at the others then walks up to Merrick.

" Count me in I'm also willing to take the risk."

" Thanks Danny."

Taylor, Max and Alyssa look at one another they let out a defeated sigh then walk up to the others they look at Merrick and nod. Alyssa gives him a warm smile.

" Count us in too."

Merrick looks at his teammates giving them a small smile he then nods.

" Ready?"

" Ready."

" Wild access!"

" Alright guys let's do this."

Jindrax and Toxica look at each other Toxica raises her brows.

" Alright it's your death wish but don't say we didn't warn you."

Toxica points her staff at the rangers shooting a beam of light at them the rangers are then teleported to the Org spirit world.

Jindrax looks over at Toxica.

" Think they'll manage to do it?"

" I highly doubt it."

 The rangers land in the pond they quickly get up and look around. Merrick turns to the others.

" Keep your eyes peeled guys Aleu could be anywhere."

" So, you've come for Aleu."

The rangers jump hearing the voice their jaws drop seeing who it is.

" So, this is your true form I'm just glad we didn't see it."

" It's a shame you didn't I was hoping my Duke Org form would have been healed so I could have fought you."

Merrick glares at Zuleika.

" You would have lost anyways."

" Let's find out who's the better wolf."

Zuleika pulls out her sword charging at Merrick he quickly unsheathes his lunar cue blocking her attack. Cole looks at the others.

" Come on guys let's help Merrick.

Before the rangers could help the Orgs come running in, laughing. Danny looks at the others.

" Is this the trail Jindrax and Toxica were talking about?"

Taylor looks over at him.

" If it is we'll take them down."

Tombstone Org laughs.

" Foolish girl, how can you defeat something that's already been defeated?"

Tire Org looks at the rangers.

" We have the upper hand here this time we'll defeat you."

Cole balls his fists.

" We'll see about that."

The rangers begin to fight the Orgs, Merrick and Zuleika are still at it Merrick jumps to the side as Zuleika swings her sword, he changes the lunar cue into sniper mode firing at her she jumps up dodging the attack as she comes down Zuleika swings her sword striking Merrick causing him to fall backwards. She laughs as she sees Merrick struggle to get up.

" Face it, you're no match for me."

" I will save Aleu one way or another."

" If you want her so bad come and get her."

Zuleika holds out her hand revealing the energy form Merrick let's out a gasp.

" Don't worry Aleu, I'll get you back."

Determined to get Aleu back Merrick does everything he can, the rangers are struggling against the Orgs they stumble back the Orgs laugh at them and begin to walk towards the rangers Morgan turns towards Merrick.

" Merrick hurry."

" You'll be stuck down here forever I'll make sure of it."

Zuleika swings her sword Merrick dodges it as he rolls to the side, he swings the lunar cue striking Zuleika's hand causing her to release the energy ball. Merrick jumps up grabbing the energy ball. Zuleika lets out a growl.

" NO!"

Just then the others disappear from the Org spirit world Merrick looks at Zuleika.

" Enjoy your time down here Zuleika, you belong here."

Merrick then disappears from the Org spirit world Zuleika shakes her fist in the air.

" NO, curse you Merrick, I will get out of here and when I do, I'll make you pay for what you've done."

The rangers land on the ground breathing hard they look at each other Merrick quickly gets up taking off the others are right behind him. Merrick kneels down next to Aleu he opens his hand letting the energy ball go, it flies back into Aleu's body. 

" Come on Aleu, wake up."

Danny looks over at Max.

" I hope this works."

" You and me both."

I hear voices, how is this possible? I gasp for air I quickly sit up breathing hard I look down at my hands flipping them over and over I then slowly reach up touching my face. I'm alive. I look up seeing the rangers looking down at me I let out a gasp then back up holding up my hand. Merrick kneels down next to me I back up into the trunk of the weeping willow tree then look down.

" What do you want?"

Max looks at Aleu.

" We rescued you, well basically Merrick did."

I shake my head I can't believe what I'm hearing, Merrick looks at me.

" We rescued your soul from the Org spirit world."

" You shouldn't have done that; I don't deserve to be here."

Max looks at me confused.

" What makes you say that?"

" You wouldn't understand."

Danny looks at me.

" We can try to understand."

I look up at the rangers giving them a glare.

" I don't have to explain myself to you guys."

I stand up, the rangers take a few steps back I look at them then to Merrick I shake my head I turn on my heel to leave Merrick grabs my arm stopping me.

"Aleu wait."

" I don't deserve to be here; I should be in the Org spirit world being a tortured soul."

" You told me you love me why are you leaving?"

" I was dying I wasn't expecting to come back, you don't deserve someone like me Merrick, I hurt you, I used you, I made you lose your animal crystals, I played you like a fiddle, but I never wanted to hurt you Zuleika made me do all those horrible things you don't deserve me. You deserve someone better, someone who will treat you right and I'm better off alone anyways."

" You're the reason I got my animal crystals back you sacrificed yourself to help me without you, my animal crystals would still be in the hands of Master Org if I didn't care about you, I wouldn't have gone to the Org spirit world to retrieve your soul. I'm sorry for those things I said about you when I lost them, I was angry at the time I take back everything, I need you Aleu. I love you."

I look at Merrick with a sad look I shake my head.

" I'm sorry."

I turn around taking off disappearing into the forest, Merrick looks down at the ground letting out a sigh. Morgan walks up to him putting a hand on his shoulder.

" She needs her space, after all she wasn't expecting to come back Merrick."

" Did I do the right thing?"

" Of course, you did Aleu just needs some time to readjust to everything now that Zuleika is gone from her life."

" Why did she run?"

" I think you know why."

" I told her I was sorry."

" Give her some time, don't rush her."

" How much time does she need?"

" She'll come around when she's ready to talk to you."

" What if she never wants to talk to me again?"

" Don't say that Merrick, I know she will."

As I walk through the forest, I have a million thoughts run through my head I can't believe they did that, going to the Org spirit world risking their lives for me when they knew they might not be able to come back if they failed. I should still be there being a tortured soul I deserve being mocked by the fallen Orgs. Just then music fills the air I look around looking for where it was coming from the song, why does it seem so familiar? I look around some more just then I see a figure coming towards me I let out a gasp it can't be I thought they took care of him. 

" Zen-Aku."
