Ch.13 Family Reunion

Aleu's P.O.V

It was a beautiful day Merrick and I head to the Animarium to go see the rangers when we get there the rangers are huddled together, Merrick and I look at one another then look back at the others I raise my brow wondering what they were doing. I lean over to Merrick whispering.

" What are they doing?"

Merrick shrugs his shoulders.

" I'm not sure."

 Just then they all nod in agreement they break from the huddle then turn to me, Cole walks up to me with a smile on his face.

" Aleu, we want to introduce you to someone."

" Really?"

" Yeah, come on we'll take you to him."

The rangers escort me out of the Animarium, as we walk down the street, I become more curious to see who the rangers want me to meet, as we come to the outskirts of the town we come upon a statue. Standing in front of the statue was a kid I tilt my head when I see him, we come to a stop the kid turns to us Cole gives him a warm smile.

" Hey Kite, how's it going?"

" Hello rangers it's good to see you."

" We'd like to introduce you to someone, Aleu this is Kite. Kite, Aleu"

 I look at Kite dumbfounded, my jaw drops, I slowly walk towards him. Kite then gives me a warm smile as I tilt my head. 

" Animus, is that really you?"

" Hello Aleu, it's good to see you."

" You as well but how is this possible?"

" The rangers set me free from the Dark Demission which led to my resurrection, but for now I take form as a child."

" This is unbelievable I have so many questions."

" As do I."

I turn looking back at the other rangers they give me a small smile/nod. I turn back to Animus feeling guilty about everything that has happened. 

" I'm sorry for everything Animus, I shouldn't have put the mask on I'm so sorry."

" You didn't know, your stepfather didn't want any of my stories to be told and I should have told you myself when you came to visit me."

" When I found the mask, I was drawn to its power I didn't realize what it would do I didn't think it would release her soul and I would become her vessel."

" I'm just glad the mask of Zen-Aku wasn't found at the same time things would have been tragic."

" I'm just glad the curse is broken I can finally be me and not have to worry about her taking over."

" You deserve to be happy Aleu, you and Merrick deserve the best."

Animus turns to Merrick giving him a small smile and nod.

" Don't worry Animus, she's in good hands."

Merrick comes up putting a hand on my shoulder I put my hand on his.

" You two will have a wonderful life together, take care of each other."

I put my hand on Merrick's I look at Animus giving him a small smile.

" We will."

" I'm afraid the battle with the Org's isn't finished quite yet, Master Org is still out there you need to be careful rangers."

I put my hand on Merrick's arm letting out a shaky breath I turn to the rangers with a worried look. 

" He doesn't know I'm back."

Merrick looks at me.

" Let's keep it that way, I don't want him hurting you again."

Morgan puts a hand on Merrick's shoulder.

" I think Aleu could stand her ground I mean she did almost defeat Zen-Aku."

I turn back to Animus putting a hand on his shoulder.

" Thank you for your help that day, I don't know what I would have done."

" You're welcome I'm always willing to help my family."

Cole takes a step forward giving Animus a warm smile.

" We're glad you helped Aleu morph without her I don't know what would have happened to us."

" I'm glad as well, she did an amazing job fighting Zen-Aku, you truly have the bravery of an ancient warrior."

Hearing what Animus said I can't help but smile. 

 " Thanks Animus."

" Aleu, hold our your hand."

I hold out my hand Animus takes it and holds his hand over mine just then an animal crystal appears in the palm of my hand my jaw drops just then Animus holds out a growl phone I take it looking at him amazed.

" What's this?"

" I think you deserved this your very own growl phone and animal crystal."

" Thank you, Animus."

" The cunning jackal."

I hold up the animal crystal inside was a jackal the others gather around to get a look. Max pats me on the back.

" Welcome to the team Aleu."

" Thanks Max."

Danny puts a hand on my shoulder giving me a big grin.

" This is great now the Org's won't stand a chance."

Merrick has a worried look on his face he grabs my arm pulling me to the side.

" Isn't this a little too risky?"

" What are you talking about?"

" If you fight with us word will get to Master Org that you're alive he'll come after you."

" He can try but I can't live in fear knowing he's still out there and I know I'll have my team there to help me."

Merrick takes my hands and pulls me close.

" Aleu, I don't want to lose you again."

" I'll be fine Merrick I can hold my own ground; besides we'll show him what the Wild Force Rangers can do."

Merrick lets out a small chuckle. 

" Animus is right, you truly do have the bravery of an ancient warrior."

" We will defeat the Org's once and for all."

" And after we do, we can finally live an ordinary life, you and me side by side no worries."

Morgan walks over to us clearing her throat we turn looking at her she gives us a sheepish look.

" Sorry to ruin the moment but we're heading back to the Animarium for a celebration for our newest team member."

Merrick gives Morgan a smirk.

" We'll be right there."

" Right, see you there."

The others begin to head back to the Animarium, Animus walks over to us he holds out his hand. 

" I want you to take these."

We look down seeing two rings Merrick picks them up we look at them amazed I look at Animus giving him a smile.

" Wow they're beautiful."

" I want you two to have them, I know you two will have a wonderful life together."

Merrick looks at Animus giving him a small smile.

" Thank you, my friend I promise nothing will happen to her."

" Take care you two, I shall see you again soon."

Animus disappears, Merrick and I look at each other then at the rings, Merrick looks back at me giving me a small smile.

" Well at least we know we have Animus' blessing."

" Come on we should rejoin the others."

Merrick takes my hand as we head back to the Animarium, as we enter the interior Shayla walks over to me with a big smile on her face.

" I can't believe it Animus gave you an animal crystal."

" I know I could hardly believe it myself."

I hold up the animal crystal for her to see.

" The cunning jackal." 

The jackal lets out a mighty howl, just then the others gather around giving a small nod to Shayla she quickly gets up standing beside them I look at them knitting my brows.

" What's going on?"

Shayla looks at the rangers then to me.

" Now that you're a ranger, I think you deserve this."

Just then Shayla brings out a vest my jaw drops she holds it out I take it I look at the vest on the back was Cunning Jackal I look up at the others who have a smile upon their faces.

" This is amazing, but how did you make this so quickly?"

" Animus appeared to me in my dream he told me what he was going to do he told me about your battle with Zen-Aku and how you saved the rangers you were very brave Aleu."

" Thank you."

Cole gives me a small smile.

" Go on put it on."

I put on the vest it was a perfect fit I turn around showing the others.

" Well, how does it look?"

The rangers nod in agreement Merrick takes a step forward giving me a smile.

" It looks great on you."

" Thanks Merrick."

Alyssa looks at me nodding her head.

" It's great having another ranger on the team, the Org's won't stand a chance against us now."

Max puts his hands on Alyssa and Taylor's shoulders then look at the others.

" Hey, aren't we suppose to be celebrating our newest member?"

Danny nods hearing Max.

" Yeah, let's celebrate guys."

The rest of the day we celebrate the night away, I will do my best to be a good ranger and not let down the team. Master Org and the other Orgs will fall once and for all.
