Ch.16 Unfinished Business

Aleu's P.O.V

It was a peaceful day in Turtle Cove I decided to go to Willie's Roadhouse to hang out for a while and give Merrick some company. When I get there Merrick puts three pool balls down on the table as if he was calling upon his wildzords. I head over to the counter giving Willie a warm smile.

" Hey Willie."

" Hey Aleu, it's good to see you."

" You as well, I'd thought I'd stop by and give Merrick some company."

I turn around as Merrick looks down at the formation then grabs a cue and lines up, Willie watches Merrick as he breaks, the balls sink into different pockets Willie walks over shaking his head.

" You know day after day you always practice the same shot don't you ever get tired of it?"

Merrick shakes his head.

" No, not really."

" Now watch this I'm going to teach you something new."

Willie grabs a cue then sits a ball on the table Merrick watches as Willie takes his shot the ball jumps, spins in place, then jumps up at Merrick who catches it with a surprised look upon his face, he looks at Willie amazed.

" You played pool?"

" I did a long time ago I like to keep the past in the past kind of like you kid."

" That was really impressive Willie, who knows Merrick maybe he can teach you a thing or two."

Merrick looks at me giving me a smirk just then the window opens letting in a breeze alerting Merrick that there's trouble. He quickly turns around I look at him worried. 

" Merrick what is it?"

" Stay here Aleu."

Merrick hurries out of the roadhouse he hurries down the path he stops when he hears a flute playing in the distance a chill goes down his spine knowing that song, he looks down the tunnel only to see Zen-Aku walking towards him. |

" It can't be."

As Zen-Aku continues to play his song his yellow eyes bore into Merrick's he then comes to a stop letting the song end Merrick balls his fists in anger.

" What do you want."

" I have some unfinished business."

" I won't let you hurt her."

" I'm not talking about Aleu, Merrick I'm here for you."

" What?"

" I'll make Aleu suffer by ending you instead, crescent blade!"

" Wild Access! Lunar cue saber mode."

The blades clash Zen-Aku lets out a small growl.

" I decided I'll let Aleu suffer seeing the one she loves fall."

" That's not going to happen."

" Don't be so sure."

Zen-Aku has the upper hand he manages to throw Merrick down a hill as Merrick tumbles down Zen-Aku jumps down as Merrick quickly gets up. Then Zen-Aku strikes Merrick over and over. Merrick jumps up swinging his lunar cue, but Zen-Aku catches it and spins him around then tosses Merrick to the side.

As I sit at the counter, I begin to worry about Merrick he's been gone for a while now my growl phone goes off, I look to see who it is its Morgan, I step outside and answer it. 

" Hello?"

" Aleu its Merrick."

" Morgan, what's going on?"
