Warnings: angst, Unsypathetic Patton/Logan, Abuse, near death. (I think thats it let me know if you find anything else)
"Stop! He's my brother!" Roman shouted as he witnessed the horrifying scene unfold before him.
"Shut up, Roman!" Patton demanded. Patton didn't even turn to look at him. He just kept beating his brother.
"Look up Virgil." Logan taunted. Virgil looked up with tears in his eyes while his head swirled with negative thoughts.
"He didn't mean it!" Roman yelled. "He didn't know!" He was crying as he watched his brother get beat up in front of him. Patton whipped around and smacked Roman in the face.
"He's getting what he deserves." Patton snapped angrily. Roman shook with fury and fear. He couldn't safe his brother. Not without help at least. Roman wracked his brain, desperately trying to think of who could help him. Then it clicked.
"Janus," Roman whispered. "Remus is in trouble."
"Get the hell away from him!" Janus barked. He stood in front of Remus protectively, and took a swing at Logan but missed by an inch.
"And why should I answer to you?" Patton asked bratilly. (not sure if that's actually a word or not. :))
"You want a reason?" Janus growled. "I'll give you a fucking reason." Janus shoulder checked Patton and slammed his head into the ground, knocking him out cold. "Want that four your ungrateful ass?"
Logan turned to face Roman. "You wouldn't want this to happen to you master, now would you?" He stepped closer to the princely persona and Roman backed up.
"Yes, I do! Virgil go to the DarkSides MindPalace with Remus!" Roman shouted. Virgil quickly grabbed onto Remus and sank out with the injured side.
"Ugh, pathetic. You don't think, Do you?" Logan hissed. Logan lunged at Roman and took a swing at him. Roman deflected the punch with the flat of his blade, then kicked him in the gut causing Logan to double over and gasp for air. Janus then punched Logan on the back of his head. That knocked him out.
"Roman come with me." Janus said. Roman nodded and followed Janus down to the DarkSides MindPalace. When the two of them made it to Remus's room, tears slipped down Roman's face as he laid eyes on his brother's unconscious face, taking dangerously shallow breaths.
"R-roman? Are you there?" Remus asked weakly.
Roman rushed over and kneeled at his brother's side. "What do you need?" He asked. "I'll get you anything. I'm here, I'm here." Roman's voice cracked on the last here and tears broke free. He clutched his brother's hand as he sobbed into Remus's chest when he slipped out of consciousness again.

"Roman... you have to eat something." Virgil said softly. "If you want it can be something small but it has to be something." Virge heard a sniffle in response and that was all. Janus shook his head somberly.
"It's pointless. He'll only move from that spot when I tend to Remus." Janus sighed.
"Ugh." Virgil groaned into his hands, He scrubbed his face with his hands then folded them over his face. "He needs to eat something. It's been days."
"At least he's drinking water." Jan offered weakly. Virgil nodded and sat against Remus's door to make sure everything was okay.
"Virgil you need to sleep." Janus said firmly.
"I cant sleep without knowing he's okay." Virgil said, eyes widening with panic. He shook with fear. He feared Roman would become depressed and try to kill himself. Janus hugged Virgil and hummed quietly in attempt to keep Virgil from having a panic attack. Janus hummed 'You Are My Sunshine' and quickly calmed Virgil down.
"I know you're anxiety and I know you love him but he'll be fine. As soon as Remus heals up." Janus assured softly.
"I know. Can I just please sleep in there with Roman?" Virgil asked.
"Yeah." Janus replied. "I was gonna sleep with Remus anyways. Go change and If you wake up horny be quiet." Jan teased.
"S-shut up!" Virgil hissed. He left to go change. When he finished he sprinted down the hall and fearfully clung to Janus's back. "Remus is in his room, right?" He asked nervously.
"Yeah, I- he should be." Janus replied. Equally nervous.
"Then why did I see him in the bathroom next to your room." Virgil hissed urgently.
"Virgil, don't freak out, but I don't have a bathroom next to my room." Janus said shakily. Virgil started to freak out.
"Then why did I see a room with a bathroom in it and remus in there?" Virgil asked. Justifiably scared. Janus thought for a moment.
"he's probably just dreaming of doing something scandalous in the bathroom." Janus offered.
"Yeah maybe." Virgil responded. Janus and Virgil entered Remus's room and cuddled up to their loved ones.
