One morning you were rudely awakened by Aviva shouting orders at everyone because Chirs was lost in the Sonoran desert. You were panicking because you were a co-pilot, and Jimmy was comatose. He passed out about 15 minutes ago and now you were fighting a panic attack and trying to pull the Tortuga out of a nose-dive. The ship was falling at about 89 mph, threatening to smash y'all to death.
"C'mon! Pull up!" Koki shouted. You flinched at her sudden outburst and wiped your tears on your sleeve, trying to clear your vision.
"I'm trying!" You cried out. "We're falling at more than 80 miles. Per. Hour! It's not that simple!" Your voice pitched high and you pulled harder on the yoke upward to stop your descent. "So! Shut! Up!" you snapped. This is a new side of you that the rest of the crew had never seen. You're not depressed, per-say, but you do hide how you really feel. You're a quiet person who has a hard time expressing and controlling their anger.
Koki all but growled. She started listing all of the times you fucked up. You barely resisted the urge to push the airship down.
"Shut up! Shut Up! SHUT UP!!" You screamed in agony. "I already keep record of when I fuck up! So shut your damn mouth!" You were, clearly, fed up with her shit. (A/N: I don't hate any of them, it's just for the sake of the plot. I promise!) Martin, still shocked about your outburst, put his hands over your ears to shut everything out.
"Koki, shush." He commanded. With him blocking out the noise, you managed to pull the ship up.
"Finally." You breathed, tears running down your cheeks in both relief and fear. "You're lucky, I didn't add to our rapid descent." You seethed at Koki. She looked shocked at your comment and took a step back. You brushed past her and stormed off to your room. In your room you fell onto your bed and cried yourself to sleep.
An hour and a half later you woke up. You thudded into the main room and looked for food.
"Oh, hey." Martin said. He walked up to you and opened his arms for a hug questioningly.
"Sure." You shrugged. He hugged you from behind and you made a sandwich for both him and yourself.
The two of you fell into a comfy silence. It was bliss if I'm being honest.
