ওEVERY student at one tree hill prep had their eyes glued to the tv screen in the cafeteria.
it was eight a.m. and the students were waiting to see which three students from the other school were even smart enough to test into their school.
bella, chad, alahna, madi, and her boyfriend baylen were all sitting at the table talking about it, glancing at the tv screen every once in a while.
"how are you guys feeling?" alahna broke the silence. "like i don't want a bunch of poor students at our school." heather spat in disgust as she walked by.
bella rolled her eyes, but she agreed with heather. she wasn't too keen on having someone lower class go to her school.
she didn't want anything to change, and she didn't want some lower east side trash coming to her school and contaminating the place.
"well i for one am excited for a change." alahna broke bella out of her thoughts. "i'm actually with heather on this." chad ate his blueberry.
"scared some newbies gonna take poor chad's place as the most popular guy in the school." baylen mocked.
it was no secret that chad was the most popular boy at this school besides baylen. it's the main reason why her parents wanted bella to date him because he was rich, popular, and perfect. everything they wanted her to be.
everyone but bella and chad, who were annoyed, laughed at him before it died quickly when the news came on.
the entire cafeteria looked at the tv screens scattered around as the news reporter talked about the latest incoming news.
"this just ends another news report on the weather, now new information on one tree hill prep that was called a gimmick and a hoax has come true." he started.
"principal mercedes armani has released information that the three students have been selected and will enter the school grounds soon, but has decided to keep the chosen anonymous to keep the three students comfortable." he continued
"today, one tree hill has made history. is the town truly selfish and excluding as people thought? or otherwise. more news to come on one tree hill news" he ended.
just then the bell rang and everyone left the cafeteria and headed towards their classes.
bella took her usual seat in the middle in math. she wished alahna and madi were in this class with her so she didn't have to talk to anyone else.
