ওBELLA parked her car as she smoothed out her outfit. she honked the horn twice as she stared at the sturniolo doorstep.
she decided to surprise chris with mcdonald's, pepsi, and fudge such he said it was his favorite.
he came out a few minutes surprised with his backpack with him as bella rolled down her window. "what are you doing here?" he shouted.
"giving you a free ride to school." bella smiled. chris looked at her oddly before walking over to the passenger side, getting in.
"surprise!" bella held up the bag as he closed the door. "for me?" he interlocked his hands together jokingly as he took the bag and saw what bella got him.
"thanks, bella," he said genuinely. she knew he meant it because he didn't call her princess.
"no problem." she said nonchalantly. "no, seriously. i appreciate everything you've done for me." he started. "it means a lot to me." he looked at her as she smiled.
he looked away as he saw one combo in the bag. "did you eat already?" he asked. "no, i'm gonna eat at school." she responded.
"don't worry about it." chris split his fries and burger between himself and bella as he gave her the wrapper and him eating on the bag. he put the pepsi in the middle along with the fudge so she could have some.
chris began to eat as she stared at the food nervously. her mother always warned her about eating fast food because of the carbs and calories.
"you okay?" he looked at her. "yeah, it's just that, i um. i'm not hungry anymore." she whispered. "really?" he eyed her.
