𓆩♡𓆪 ╱ CHAPTER FOURTEEN━WANTING WHAT YOU CANNOT HAVE ──────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────────────
ওBELLA stood outside with the rest of the school for the field trip.
every year, the school had a cotillion to raise money for charities. and this year, mercedes is pushing the agenda really hard to keep one tree hill looking good.
in the newspaper, the town's image has improved over the last seven months since the triplets came to the school.
now, they're going into the shopping center to get gowns and tuxes because the cotillion is the only thing that will excuse the students from a school day.
and normally bella would be excited to shop until she dropped, but all she could focus on was running into chris.
she didn't want to think about him. she wanted to forget about him, but no matter how hard she tried: she couldn't deny the fact that she missed him.
she missed his humor, their late night swims, his touch...
"bella!" alahna semi-yelled. "yeah." she broke out of her thoughts. "you're staring babe." madi pointed out.
"i wasn't—i was just caught up in my thoughts." bella half lied. "yeah okay." alahna snickered which earned an eye roll from bella.
the school bus pulled around and the teens all gathered around in a line to get on the bus. chad came up to her and smiled. "i got us the perfect spot for the bus." he beamed.
bella looked at madi who was next to baylen, heather next to chris, nick and alahna, and matt next to nailea devora. guess she had no other seat options.
"thanks." she half smiled. everyone started to get on the bus and bella headed towards the back and sat next to chad.
bella's eyes flickered as she saw heather laughing at something chris said as she had her hand in his. bella looked away as chris paused to stare at the raven-haired girl.
bella put on her apple headphones as chad wrapped his flannel blanket around her as she snuggled into him, him wrapping his arms around her as she fell asleep.
matt glanced at the the two from across his seat as he sat next to nailea.

ওCHAD shook bella as she continued to sleep. "bells, we're here." chad gently took her headphones off.
bella sat up and stretched as her legs shook a bit. she got up out of her seat once mostly everyone was off the bus before her and chad exited.
