ওYOU guys got back together!" madi and alahna yelled across from bella at the cafeteria table.
"you guys got to stop doing that!" i pointed out. "it's like it never happened, i just want to forget about it now." she shrugged while madi and alahna nodded.
"have you talked to chris lately." alahna hinted which got madi's attention.
"why are you guys so interested in this?" i questioned. the two looked at each other before looking back at bella.
"what is it?" bella pressured. "well ever since you're mom assigned nick as my mentor, madi, baylen and i hang out with the triplets more." alahna started.
"so," i rolled my hands to tell her to keep going. "so nick told me last night that chris said he doesn't hate you." alahna said.
"woo, should i do backflips now?" bella said sarcastically as the bell rang and the three girls got up from the table.
"which means chris might like you." madi clapped. "i literally told you i got back together with chad," i said as we walked down the hall.
"yeah, but chad has been acting like a jerk lately." madi rolled her eyes. "yeah, don't know what his deal is." alahna agreed.
"yeah, i don't know, yesterday he grabbed me and he's never done that before." bella shivered. "he did what?" madi stopped bella.
"yeah, i don't know it wasn't like him. he's been acting off since the whole pool thing," she replied.
"i mean you did almost kiss chris." alahna defended. "no, chris tried to kiss me. i would never cheat on chad." bella defended.
"arabella, a word?" the trio turned their attention to bella's mom. "we'll catch up later, you're not off the hook." alahna pointed her finger at her as her and madi walked away.
my mother moved aside so i could step into her office as she shut the door, she went around her desk and sat down while i remained standing.
"sit," she ordered as i did what i was told, growing a smile on mercedes face.
"i just wanted to let you know that our new students are fitting in quite nicely and things are looking up for one tree hill." she slid the newspaper in front of her.
bella picked up the newspaper and saw matt, nick, and chris on their first day, their library studying sessions along with matt and baylens, then nick and alahna's.
