The Serpent Bearer

The five boys wander around the area where all twelve chambers present themselves. They look around on guard for any signs of threat or presence. Hueningkai stares at the ground and realized they're standing on a golden platform with a large symbol.

How has the knowledge of the thirteenth zodiac never been part of my memory?

Suddenly, the ground shakes, the golden platform opening. The five jump out of the way to look down into the abyss. A large dark hole stares up at them, Soobin cocks his head at Jay who nods. The dragon leans over and breathes fire down the tunnel. Once he pulls away, Beomgyu sees a giant pair of green eyes reflected by the flames.

Niki instantly grabs Jay's shirt and throws him back. "Was that necessary?" Soobin deadpans. The demon sheepishly shrugs before the four of them evacuate, the ground shaking when a ginormous serpent head comes out, snapping its jaw shut.

Beomgyu is quick to recognize the same giant serpent that had swallowed Libra. Hueningkai appears behind both Beomgyu and Soobin, grabbing them and teleporting out of the way when the serpent's tail breaks the floor.

"That has to be her pet!" Beomgyu notifies the group.

"You son of a bitch, Niki!" Jay shouts and sends fire balls at the serpent. Unfortunately, flames don't do anything to harm the reptilian.

"Glad to get you fired up!" The demon cackles, dodging the serpent that's trying to eat him.

"No attacks will harm it! I remember from Libra's past." Beomgyu notifies. Soobin gets in front of him and summons two tornadoes to distract it.

"Think you can transform?" Hueningkai looks at Beomgyu, the goblin nodding. The goblin sits aside, focussing on the image of the beast he'd like to take his form on. Let's just say, he's come across many that may outmatch the serpent. Suddenly, a blast of unknown power strikes through the goblin's chest, the latter collapsing on spot.

"Beomgyu—?!" Everyone turns around and sees the perpetrator of havoc.

"Myung Haneul." Hueningkai meets her gaze. Her hood is thrown back, green piercing eyes meeting his. She has fair skin and purple hair just like the serpent within the chamber. She grins evilly, another ball of magic appearing.

"I see you got past my pawns." She raises a beam of galactic energy, everyone dodging. Soobin has to let go of his tornadoes to retreat momentarily, Hueningkai grabbing Beomgyu's body and teleporting.

An explosion takes place, startling the woman. She looks around and finds a blonde demon, both exchange scowls.

"Fine then, I'll get rid of you pests and finish off your friends." Grinning, she holds another sphere of energy, but this time it's black. "Oh, and unfortunately, I think your vampire friend is going to kill those healers any moment right now." Everyone freezes, blood going cold.

"Don't believe her crap!" Jay breathes fire at her, but it disappears. Hueningkai glances at the energy in her palms, seeing the fire get absorbed into it.

Is that a black hole?!

She laughs when she watches Hueningkai's priceless expression, glad to get the demigod shaking in his boots (if he were wearing a pair).

"Guys—! We need to evacuate!" Hueningkai doesn't have time to explain, but if the others see the fright on his expressions; one who knows everything and sees fear from him, it's deathly.

"I won't let you!" She enlarges the orb, gravity trying to pull everyone in.

Hueningkai and Jay are clinging on to the snake's scales, the serpent trying to flick them off. Hueningkai makes sure Beomgyu is safe in his hold. He looks and sees Niki and Soobin, hiding behind pillars, trying to come up with a plan asap.
