"Whew! That was fun!" Soonyoung pats Jay's back. The dragon agrees, fist bumping the sphinx. The duo had just hunted four fire coyotes. "Fire and fire is quite hard to fight, no?" The older questions. The dragon shrugs, he could manage another fire element.

"There's a reason I beat Aries." He shortly responds.

"Cocky as ever," Soonyoung rolls his eyes, earning a kick to the shin.

They start gathering their hunts into their arms and begin to head back to their friends. "Bummer that there's not a lot of creatures in the desert." Soonyoung sighs. The dragon agrees. As supernaturals, many of them have various appetites. Four fire coyotes simply wouldn't be enough.

"Hyung?" Jay says as their walking through some bushes, making sure nothing is hiding in them. The sphinx hums, too focussed on looking out for snakes or spiders. "What do you guys actually think of Sunoo?" They stop in their tracks, the older looking at the latter with an unreadable face.

If anything, Jay worries if what they've done was right, taking the second prince of Rocuria along their journey. They're an enemy, very much if they're royalty. But a supposed spy has explained the second prince is innocent. If Sunoo betrays them, it'd be the Nexus team's own doing for letting a spy destroy their hardships.

"You really want to know my opinion? Ours?" The sphinx looks at him sternly, eyes narrowed. Jay doesn't hesitate and nods. He watches at Soonyoung's eyes flicker to the ground and back to the younger. "I think he's dangerous," He starts. "The Bijou team isn't very convinced about the prince. We would have killed him, but your leader— lover thinks otherwise. Supposedly Sunoo has done nothing but good. But his powers are unique." They all know of his powers. "Let alone the fact he could have killed five of our friends." His words sting like a slap to the face, but it's all nothing but the truth. "We're keeping an eye on him. Not just us, but the other teams."

"I understand what you're saying, but he has never harmed any of us with intention." Jay carefully and slowly speaks his thoughts to the other. "He's talked about his family— he fears them himself." The sphinx's eyes soften from his words. "If it were all just an act, why would Niki of all people adore him?" A valid evidence the dragon has pointed out.

To release the tension, Soonyoung sighs, shaking his head. "We're looking out for each other. The responsibility is tough already, we can't bear to have so much weighing our paranoia now." Jay agrees, nodding lowly. "But," A smile appears on Soonyoung's face. "He does seem like a great kid either way. Quite innocent yet dangerous." He pats the dragon's shoulder for comfort.

"Yah!" Jungkook points at Chan who's rolling his eyes. "We're a team! We're supposed to work together to get the most kills!" He holds up two ginormous earth boars.

"It's not my fault I don't have a nose of a dragon or werewolf." Chan retorts, about to grab one of the animals in Jungkook's hand. "Oof!!!" The younger demon falls to the ground, gravity magic forced upon him. "Oi! Let me go, you imbecile!" The taller rolls his eyes, pointing a finger at Chan who lies flat on the ground under his powers.

"Maybe if we can get more kills, monkey." The younger's eyes narrow, a daring look.

"What do you think I am? I'm no demon who tempts animals to mate with me!" Jungkook stifles a snort. "Don't make me possess you like when we were kids."

"As if," Jungkook scoffs. "Like I'm going to let you win."

"What were the chances of you winning to the point Minghao had to extract my soul from you?" The older demon gasps exaggeratedly, crouching to flick Chan's forehead.
