"What is it, Pheebs?" Kelsey groans as I pull her into my study.
As soon as we get inside I let go and peak out the door before closing the door and turning back to Kelsey who is looking at me with a mix of curiosity and annoyance.
"What is so important that you pulled from my bed so early in the bloody morning?" she asks, her arms crossed over her chest.
I look at her confused, "Kelsey, it's 9 am, hardly early in the morning."
She rolls her eyes, "Fine, what's so important that you had to disrupt my peaceful sleep?"
Kelsey straightens up when she can see the freaked look in my eyes, "What is wrong?" she says as she moves over to me, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I took a pregnancy test while in Mystic Falls and it was positive." I rush out and Kelsey stares at me stunned.
"Positive? As there is a baby inside you?"
"Yep," I nod my head and let out a deep sigh, "But that's not possible because the only person I have had sex with is Elijah."
"And he can't make babies." Kelsey completes for me .
We both stare at each other in silence, the implications of the situation sinking in. Kelsey breaks the silence, her voice a mere whisper, "Maybe it was a false positive. You should take another test."
I nod my head, "My thoughts exactly which is why I took all these before I pulled you out of bed." I say before putting the five pregnancy tests on the table in front of her, all of them reading positive.
Kelsey stands there, staring at the tests in disbelief.
"How is this possible?" Kelsey asks, slightly freaked out.
"I don't know that is why I woke you."
"Okay, let's think about this." Kelsey says as she starts to pace while thinking.
"When was the last time you had sex with Klaus?" Kelsey asks.
"That night after I killed Dahlia." I tell her and she nods, rubbing her forehead before pausing and looking over me.
"Dahlia!" Kelsey exclaims and I look at her confused, "You need to say your thinking process out loud, Kels."
"Didn't you hit Elijah with a shit ton of your magic when you were going to give it over to Dahlia." Kelsey says, trying to lead me to her conclusion.
"Yeah, so?" I say, too freaked to be thinking clearly.
Kelsey rolls her eyes before putting the dots together for me, "What's that thing you are constantly saying? Magic made vampires, Magic can change them."
My eyes widen as Kelsey's words sink in. "Do you mean to say that the magic I blasted Elijah with could have made him capable of fathering a child?" I ask, feeling a mix of shock and disbelief.
