Loki sat in the booth of a breakfast restaurant, sipping his cup of coffee. He was dressed casually, Loki was wearing a dark shirt, a grey denim jacket, and a pair of dark jeans, his dark blonde hair tied into a low bun. Loki was awaiting his breakfast. He was buried in a heap of grimoires, scanning different spells that his mother had collected, learned, and created over the years when they were humans. He had his own grimoires too with him. Loki knows he shouldn't be reading it in the open, but this was mystic falls and mystic falls was just so full of weird things.

"Fuck." Loki muttered lowly when he couldn't find anything. "Uh, sir-" his waitress said timidly. It seems that Loki intimidated her. Probably his domineering demeanor or his height. Loki stood at an intimidating six foot three. He is the biggest in the family which made him an excellent warrior when he was young. Loki was fearless, brutal, and ruthless. He was Mikael's golden child. In front of his father, Loki never showed any affection to his siblings out of fear of getting them in trouble. Loki didn't care about himself, only them. He had vowed to protect them when Freya was taken.

To his father, Loki was the perfect son. Loki was even arranged to be married off to his friend's daughter. It was all before Henrik died and things went to shit. Thankfully, Loki never had to marry the brat. He had met her three times and she left nothing but a bad impression on him. Loki was in his early thirties and she was ten years his junior. And despite being an adult, she didn't act her age.

"Im so sorry, sweetheart. Here I go." Loki flashed an apologetic smile before packing up the grimoires and putting them in his bag, allowing the waitress to put the food on his table. "Thank you." Loki grinned charmingly. The waitress blushed. "You are welcome, sir," she said before walking away to take another person's order.  Loki had got to admit, she was so adorable and reeked of innocence, something which was rare. He loved Caroline, he really does, But Loki sometimes checked out other women, but of course, he wasn't going to act on it. He had his girl, After all, plus him and Care checked out other guys too. He didn't really attach a label to his sexuality, but it is safe to say, he likes what he likes and will definitely take what he gets. He had hooked up with several men in the past, and even dated on back in the 80s. It was like the second worst relationship in this life to Ambrosia, that psycho bitch.

His "relationship" with the man was nothing compared to the one with his beloved Caroline,  aside from having to share her with his brother. Don't get him wrong, he loves his brother, but sometimes, Klaus pisses him off especially when it concerns their beloved. They both loved her and wanted to make things work for her and their daughter.

Loki hummed to himself as he enjoyed his breakfast, unaware of what he was about to get himself into.
