I'll Meet You There

That same evening after the Sam and Colby exploration, we made our way to Tempest. A super trampoline park.

Now how poorly could this go?

As soon as we were standing outside the building, Elton set up his camera to film his intro.

He told the viewers his goal was to stay overnight, so we'd have to hide as soon as the park closed. Sam reintroduced Elton to the viewers, as Colby had cut off part of Elton's beard, resulting in Elton shaving his beard off.

We entered the building and Colby almost instantly flung himself at a mat, and failed epically. Or miserably, depending on how you look at it. Elton wanted to see who could top Colby's failure. Sam grabbed a beam weakly, and fell down.

Corey flung himself at the mat and did a somersault and landed on his butt.

I took a turn and landed on my feet. Years of ballet and gymnastics had certainly paid off.

The boys decided we needed to find a place to hide. Corey hid behind a mat and Elton kicked the mat, and accidentally, or maybe purposefully, kicked Corey in the balls.

While the boys ran to find a place to hide, Elton grabbed my arm. "Stay visible. We're allowed to be here. I already got the permission."

I frowned. "So you're making the boys hide for no reason. That's devious. I'm down."

He smiled. "I knew you'd be for it."

We walked over to Corbin and Elton told him where the guys were.

While we walked over to the office, we saw phones sitting there. I let out a sigh. "Boys, I thought you would've learned from Big Air."

Elton laughed. "Apparently not."

Corbin opened the office door and started yelling at the boys. They all appeared, smiles on their faces. I guess getting "busted" went well.

Corbin started climbing up ladders while I sat in the phone pit with Colby for a little bit. Corbin then jumped on a platform and fell onto a mat face first. Ouch.

Elton was to go next, and we started chanting, "Elton does it next! Elton does it next!"

Almost instantly, the chanting became, "Elton breaks his neck! Elton breaks his neck!"

Colby then reminded us that the beardless guy we were cheering for was actually Kyle. We started chanting, "Kyle breaks his neck! Kyle breaks his neck!"

Elton jumped onto a platform and nearly lost his balance, but managed to catch himself.

Once again, Corbin started showing off. He climbed onto a railing and jumped down. Elton did it, and did a superhero pose as soon as he hit the mat.

Elton then wanted us to do it. Colby pointed to a sign warning us against jumping with shoes on the trampoline. We ran off, and Sam fell into the foam pit whereas the rest of us jumped to the ground. Sam started throwing foam blocks at Elton and buried himself.

We settled down a little and decided to do front flips off a block. Sam chose to go first, and by total accident, landed at the other end of the mat. Colby went next, and landed in a squat position, and pointed his toes. I went next, and landed on the mat before hopping off. Corey went after me, and landed on his feet, causing him to be proud of himself. Elton looked around a moment and saw Corbin standing on something and pointed to him.

Colby started looking at his feet and walked around strangely. I let out a light laugh and he gave me a smile in return. After he'd settled a little, Sam told us that this would be a great place to build a giant fort.
