Day 5

Poppy's POV:

When the boys were ready, they started taking selfies, annoying both me and Elton. We would be boarding a train to Nagoya. This time, we had a car to drive, so Elton said, "I'm gonna Tokyo Drift the hell out of this."

He sounded like he was joking, but also seemed serious. Yay... This sounds exciting.

Elton made a note how we had almost died when he drove in New Zealand and then said, "And this Masshole here was crazy and certainly did some illegal maneuvers."

I frowned. "That term is offensive. I may drive recklessly and possibly illegally at points, but that's how people drive in that area. For the record, I haven't lived there for years, and that term is something people from the state can say, but not anyone from anywhere else."

"Your home state never leaves you."

"Well no, but don't call me that."

Jay didn't seem pleased about Elton's comment and then Elton wondered what R stood for. I stared at the camera and said, "Rekt. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've heard the guys use that."

Jay laughed. "That's a good one, Poppy."

We reached the hotel and there were three beds.

Colby looked at me. "Do you want to share again? We can use pillows to separate ourselves."

I nodded. "Sure."

Elton told us we would be doing sumo-wrestling next. Honestly, I hoped we wouldn't actually be doing it, but that we'd be watching it instead. Doing sumo-wrestling would almost certainly get me killed.

As the bellhop was bringing our bags in, Brennen told us that he had broken the toilet.

We made our way to the arena and Colby made a Vine joke causing Elton to retort, "Vine is dead."

The guys began discussing what to do. We entered the arena and saw that there were four foam pads on the ground. Each of the guys sat down and I frowned, wanting my own foam pad. Colby wordlessly pulled me onto his lap and we talked for awhile and watched the guys warm up.

I glanced at Colby. "You know, the viewers are gonna say something about that."

"They already say things," he reasoned. "But if you're uncomfortable, don't hesitate to say something."

I nodded. "Yeah, okay."

We left the arena for awhile, Colby and Brennen had a faux fight, and six hours later, the real fight started.

The five of us re-entered the arena and resumed our little square. Colby's knees were up so I could sit on the mat like I wanted to. He crossed his arms around his knees, surrounding me and we watched the fight. To be honest, it was rather comfortable; for me at least.

The sumo wrestler in turquoise was knocked to the ground and didn't get out in the allotted amount of time, so he was disqualified. Brennen tried talking in Japanese to the older woman next to us, but she didn't answer him. Elton began cheering for a guy in pink briefs.

As soon as the sumo-wrestling finished, we made our way to a museum. We saw the seat the emperor sat in and Elton joked, "I think you could sit there, Poppy."

I shrugged. "Yeah, maybe."

As we walked, we passed guns and then came to a rope. Brennen was first to pull it, and didn't get the gong to the top. Colby went next, and there was a light ding. Jay's turn gave him an audience. Elton decided to pull the rope with his legs. I pulled the rope and heard a light ding and grinned.

Jay frowned. "How?"

"I like going to carnivals and I've perfected the art of gong-reaching. That sounded weird."

We made our way back to the hotel and the boys immediately started moving furniture so they could have their own sumo match. Brennen and Colby went first, and Brennen won. They decided on a rematch, and once again, Brennen won. Elton and Jay went, and then Elton decided to strip down to his underwear and Colby instantly covered my eyes. I removed his hands and said, "I'm not a child you need to protect."

Elton lost to Jay, and then Brennen lost to Jay.

Jay then turned to me and asked, "Poppy; do you want to go against one of us?"

"You guys will kill me."

"We'll be careful."

"No."

"Please?"

"Jay. I'm a 5'0, 93 pound girl. I could get seriously hurt or worse. So my answer remains the same; no."

He nodded. "Fair enough. Okay, you can watch and cheer us on?"

"Sure."
