'They're planning on using Kotaro each time because he'll do it for the right price. It doesn't sound all that bad. It seems pretty normal, but why do I feel like there's something more to it?'

'The meeting's coming to an end soon. I better leave.'

Meanwhile, while Hojo was having a meeting with other members, the Uesugi and Sanada were having a meeting together. They both agreed to an alliance. The Hojo is a shared enemy, and now that the Shingen clan is no longer present, they must pull together to fight against the Hojo. They decided that they will not wait until they have to defend themselves against them. They'll attack right away and catch them off guard. The tension after the clan went down is dying, so now would be a good time.

I finally approached Kotaro where I last saw him.

"So you didn't die after all. So what was that about?"

"I figured I'd be dying in a different way if I went through with it."

"Hmph. My pet is so naughty surrendering herself to death."

"W - What?"

"I don't care. If I die, then I die, so be that the truth that may come. I hold no regard for my life. If I think about it too much, it becomes a restriction. "I see. So then I guess if I told you that I don't think you taking on the job of the Hojo might lead to your death, you wouldn't care?"

"It'd be a shame, but I'll do whatever I want. So is that the intel? They're putting me on again? I'll do it if they pay me enough and they do."

"Yes, they want to take down the Shingen or Uesugi clan. I think they're still thinking of a strategy."

"Too embarrassed to say anything, so it's a yes."

Side Note - (I feel really bad that I haven't incorporated the guy too much, but he feels like he wouldn't like to be around others too much, so even though it's like a romance thing, it's hard to actually envision that lmao)
