() ━━━━━ DAZAI OSAMU COULDN'T CONTAIN HIS THOUGHTS. He sat inside Atsushi's bathroom with a scattered brain. His body was huddled inside the bathtub, his knees to his chest with his arms wrapping around them.

"Not now..." He whispered with a shaky breath. A tear escaped from his left eye as he held his head back, staring at the blank ceiling above.

He cursed himself for staying up so late, because now he was alone inside the bathroom of his friend's apartment. There was no safe thought inside his mind.

His breathing was heavy and his body was fidgety. Desperately needing the reassurance of someone— he was lost in his own mind.

Lucky for him there was a knock at the bathroom door, a gentle knock. "Dazai...? Are you okay?" The tired voice of Atsushi was muffled behind the bathroom door, but it was clear enough.

Weakly he lifted his head to look in the direction of the door, staring at it with another tear running down his face. He couldn't bring himself to speak, worried that he wouldn't even be audible.

"Dazai?" He asked again, his voice louder this time. The boy became worried. "Can you please answer me?"

Atsushi held a hand against the outside of the door and tried to listen for any movement, or even Dazai's breathing. Though he heard nothing, it was oddly silent.

He tried the door knob again, hoping that it wasn't really locked. But it was. The bathroom door was locked and Dazai was on the other side.

It was then that he heard a small sound come from the bathtub and he sighed of relief. It gave some indication that the boy inside was still alive.

Dazai didn't even notice that he was started to push himself up from his position in the bathtub, his body felt numb. He could be sure that he was losing it.

Slowly he reached out for the door knob that felt miles away— his hand unlocking it with a small twist.

Atsushi opened it without a second thought, though stayed cautious of the boy who stood there. He eyes glanced over his body quickly to check for any sign of injury or blood, he needed to be sure that he didn't harm himself.

"Osamu?" His voice even sounded shaky, but for different reasons. He was worried unlike the boy who was on the edge. Dried tear marks were clear on his face. "Hey, let's go sit down..."

Carefully he led the panic filled boy to the living room, placing him onto the soft couch and taking a seat next to him. He wasn't sure on how to console the boy but it was a start.
