Chapter 6

Ivy sat in her bed, nervous about going downstairs, when Valeria came into their room. "Mija, why are you still in bed?" "I just don't want you guys to leave.. And uh," Ivy hesitated, "s-something happened between me and Ghost last night after everyone went to bed." Valeria raised her brows, "Oh really, I hadn't heard." And smirked. Ivy's face turned bright red, "Jesus did everyone hear me?!" she put her head in hands. "No, Gaz told me. Got worried you weren't down there before we left and asked me check on you," she sat next to Ivy, putting an arm around her, "Ivy, we're going to be gone for a week, go tell that cabron 'Bye', you've already given him something to think about." Valeria smiled and kissed Ivy on the side of her head. "Come on I'll walk down with you."

Valeria and Ivy walked down the stairs as the team were ready to walk out the door. Gaz looked up at the girls and smiled at Ivy. Soap walked over to Ivy and gave her a suffocating hug, "Behave Ms. Ivy, I'll drive Lt. crazy enough for the both of us." "Bye Soap." Gaz hugged her next, and whispered in her ear, "I'm glad you came down, Ivy." "Be safe Gaz." Alejandro pulled her in tightly, "We'll play cards when we get back, eh?" Ivy nodded as she smiled, "Bye Alejandro" She held her arms out to Rudy, "Be careful Rudy." He hugged her back gently, "tu lo sabes" Valeria put an arm around Ivy's neck, "Give those tontos hell, babe." "I will Valeria." Ivy smiled.

Ghost stood by the kitchen with his arms crossed. Ivy strolled over to him, "Ghost." Uncrossing his arms, he looked down into her eyes. "Ivy." He pulled her close to him, and she wrapped her arms around his waist. She whispered, "Come back to me Ghost." "Will do." He gently patted just above her ass and walked away from her, grabbing his bag and walked outside.

Price walked in the door as Ghost walked out the front door. "Glad you came down, Ivy. Soap and Valeria were throwing fits." He joked, "The team here will take good care of you. If you need anything, call Laswell." Ivy nodded as she hugged Price, surprising him. "Bring my boys and Valeria back safely, dad." "Of course. Bye Ivy." Tears welled up in Ivy's eyes as she watched the team leave from the window.

6 Days Later

Since the team left, Ivy had been extremely bored. The team that stayed with her were nice but didn't interact with her very much. She attempted to talk and do things with them, but they were too serious. They weren't them. Ivy sat in the living room watching TV when the door opened behind her, causing her to turn around and in walked Soap.

"Soap!" Ivy jumped up and hugged him firmly as he returned a hug, lifting her in the air. She looked up and saw Gaz, Rudy and Price walk in with smiles on their faces. "Bestie!" Gaz shrieked, and hugged her. "Hey I thought I was your bestie?" Soap said offended. "You are when Ivy isn't around." Price and Rudy hugged her and Ivy welcomed them home. "Welcome home boys, where's..." Through the open door, Ivy heard Valeria and Alejandro arguing. Rolling her eyes, "There they are." And smiled. Valeria walked in before Alejandro, "Hey mija, did you miss me?" "of course, and you Alejandro." Alejandro pulled Ivy away from Valeria. "ready for some cards?" "absolutely." "did anyone get hurt?" She asked the group and they got quiet. "What?" Soap spoke up, "We're covered in small scratches and bruises but we're okay, uh Lt..." Ivy's face dropped, "Where is he?" she turned around and saw Ghost walking in slowly. "What happened?!" She said as she walked over to Ghost. "bullet grazed me, I'm fine." Ghost pulled her in with one arm and wrapped it gently around her neck. "Price!" Ivy shouted as she turned towards him. "Hey you said to bring them back, you didn't say they couldn't be injured." he joked. Ivy sighed, and laughed. Price spoke again, "alright, take the night off. You're back on Ivy watch tomorrow. I've gotta go, great to see you Ivy." Price smiled and pulled her in once again before leaving.

Soap and Gaz sat on the couch and put their feet up, while Valeria and Alejandro went upstairs still bickering, and Rudy made his way to the kitchen. Ivy turned back to Ghost, "Are you sure you're okay?" asking him gently. "yes Ivy." His voice sounded tired. "You should go lay down." "Ivy..." "Don't argue, just go relax." Ghost sighed, "Fine..." ivy smiled as he walked towards his bedroom. Before shutting his door, Ghost raised his voice. "Come here Ivy." His tone was smooth. Ivy hesitated but headed towards his room. Making it to the door way she saw Ghost sitting back on his bed with his legs out comfortably, making intense eye contact with Ivy. Held out a first aid kit, "My bandage needs changed."
