"We're getting closer to finding Graves," Price said with his arms crossed, "we had a positive ID but lost sight shortly after. We believe he's working with cartel. After some digging, Laswell found a connection between Sergent Sebastian and Graves. As you can recall, Sergent Sebastian was assigned to watch over Ivy while we were gone looking for Graves. Him and the team he was assigned with are being questions as we speak." Price sighed, "I'm sorry ivy, it should've been my personal men to watch over you, those men were recommended by another Captain" Ivy shook her head, "Don't apologize, you couldn't have known." And smiled at him. "Ghost, get your gear and be ready to head out in the morning. Laswell wants you on warehouse stakeout." Yes, sir." He said with a heavy sigh. "Wait, why Ghost?" Ivy asked worried. "Kate said she needs the best and that's him. We got word Graves has a shipment scheduled to be dropped off there. We need to know what it is." Ivy stood up, "Price I don't want someone else to..." Price stepped towards Ivy, putting his hands on her shoulders, "Calm down, kid, I'm taking his place for tonight, no new faces." He smiled hoping to give her assurance. Ivy beamed, "You are?!" She smiled like a kid on Christmas. Price never stayed at the house overnight.
Ghost stood and walked to his room while the rest of the team scattered throughout the house. After a short hug from Price, Ivy made her way to Ghost's room. Leaning on the door frame to his room, she knocked. "Can I come in?" Ghost turned, "You don't have to ask to come in." he said as he let out a small breath. She sat herself on his bed, watching him pack his stuff. "Are you nervous?" He looked at Ivy, smirking underneath his bacalava at the silly question, "I'm never nervous, love." Ivy smiled and nodded, agreeing it was a stupid question. "Price being here makes me feel better that I'll be gone, though. But you're in for an annoying night, Price, Gaz and Soap together is... interesting." "I'm excited for Price to be here, I feel safe with him and he never stays the night." Ghost looked at Ivy through a glare, "Do I need to worry about you and Price?" his voice trying to sound serious. Ivy playfully slapped his thigh, "absolutely not!" Ivy laughed as she shook her head.
As he finished getting his things together, he stood in front of Ivy that still sat on the bed. Ivy looked up at him as he towered over him. She was never able to get over the size of him. Ivy scooted herself to lean against the wall and patted the bed for ghost to sit in front of her. He happily did as she asked, sitting on the bed in front of her with his back facing her. She put her arms around his large torso and rested her head on his back. Ghost smiled under the cloth that lay over his mouth. It was quiet for a moment before Ivy spoke quietly, "Come back to me in one piece." Her words tugged at his heart, "I will Ivory." He said softly as he grabbed her hand and kissed it through the bacalava.
Ivy and Ghost walked out of his room to see Price and Soap arguing about something. Soap looked at her, "Ivy! Can you settle something for us?" Rolling her eyes as she smiled she responded, "What is it Soap?" "Who's stronger? Cap or Hulk?" "Neither; Thor is the strongest." She answered confidently. Price and Soap's face dropped, "Ivy you can't be serious!?" Soap shouted before Price interrupted him, "Cap is definitely stronger than Thor." "Thor is literally a God." Gaz walked in, "Hulk IS stronger than Thor! You didn't see Ragnarök did you?"
Leaving them to argue about a movie he'd never seen, he walked into the kitchen where he saw Valeria. Nodding towards her, "How's it going?" Valeria shrugged, "It's alright, what time you leave?" "I don't know Price is arguing about some movie with Soap, Gaz and Ivy." He laughed. "Figures." Valeria rolled her eyes and smirked. "What are we doing tonight?" "Um," Ghost paused as he thought, "Just the usual why?" Valeria threw her head back in annoyance, "That's boring. Price is here, why don't we actually do something?" "Like what" Valeria shrugged her shoulders, "Ask Ivy, she'll full of ideas." And walked out of the kitchen as she yelled into the living room, "Wanda is the strongest, you tontos."
Ghost began to shake his head when he heard a familiar pop and broken glass hitting the wooden floor.
