Ghost's POV
The team was flown by airplane to Oslo, Norway. Price gave orders on the next plane on their way to their find Ivy in Budapest. "Soap, Gaz, Valeria and Alejandro, you're ground team. Rudy you're watch tower. After cleared by Rudy to enter, Soap, Ghost, Gaz and I will enter through the front and sweep the house. Valeria and Alejandro will take the back, Rudy giving cover where needed." Price laid out a blueprint of the possible house Ivy was being held hostage by Graves for the team to get familiar with. "You're cleared for weapons free. Kill any hostile. We need Graves alive. Ghost a word." Ghost looked up at Price and followed him to the back of the plane. "I know this is close to home, but I need Ghost, not Simon. Understood?" Ghost nodded, "Yes sir." Price patted Ghost's back hard, "Let's go get our girl." He smiled and walked off.
Finally arriving at the point of interest to move into where Ivy was thought to be. Ground team and Rudy took their positions. Rudy was in a higher position to give them the green light to move in. Ghost and Price were in position to meet the team to sweep the house.
Soap's POV
It had taken some time for the team to move in closer, Rudy having to guide them one by one. Soap approached the rear of the house after having to stay still for a while. As he crawled, he saw someone get thrown out of the houses' back door by Graves. Soap's heart began to pound. She's fucking here. A faint smile appeared on his face. He looked at the person that was thrown out of the house and saw long black hair that he became all too familiar with. Soap quickly but quietly spoke into his mic that was attached to his helmet. "Lt. I found your girl." He called out as softly as he could to Ivy.
Ghost's POV
Ghost felt a sense of relief, but it was short lived. He still had to get her out of there. Ghost turned to Price, "At ease, we still have to wait for Rudy's signal." Ghost nodded and sighed impatiently. Price spoke into his mic, "Soap, this is Price. Location?" "Back yard sir. I've got eyes on her." "Rudy, is Soap clear for evac?" "Price, checking." "Soap is clear." "Rudy confirm, Soap is clear for evac." "Affirmative." "Soap, get her outta there quietly. Rest of ground team, get eyes on Soap and cover." "Soap you have about 2 minutes to get her to here, we have hostile closing in." "Moving."
Ghost listened for Soap's confirmation on evacuating Ivy safely.
Ivy's POV
As she looked at the clouds, the tightness in her chest began to ease. Tears began flowing again not from sadness but relief. Ivy looked back towards Soap, seeing him crouching and walking quickly towards her. Soap approached her and grabbed her arm. "Can you walk?" he asked softly. Ivy attempted to stand but was too weak. She shook her head. "It's alright, love. Stay here."
Ghost's POV
Ghost sat impatiently waiting as Soap's voice came over the radio. "Price, she can't walk, she looks pretty beaten up." FUCK! Before Ghost or Price could say anything, Rudy's voice came on the radio "Soap return to position and stay there. Hostile is close." "Rudy we need clearance and fast." Ghost said calmly but sternly over the radio. "I'm trying Ghost." Price came on the radio, "Soap stay in position. Rudy, can Valeria make it to my position?" "Yes sir." "Valeria on me." "Alejandro and Soap cover back of house." After Rudy moved the team around for another 10 minutes, The perimeter was cleared.
"On me." Price said as he crouched, he walked towards the front door. Price spoke in the mic, "Rudy keep eyes on Ivy, and outside hostiles." "Got it sir." Rudy spoke quickly. Price continued, "Weapons free team, but we need Graves alive. Let's move." Price kicked the door down swiftly, shooting two men that guarded the door and they dropped. There was a room to the right, Ghost entered but it was empty. Price continued down the long hall from the entrance. Another room to the left, Valeria entered and shot on man dead. Ghost was behind Price, ready to enter what they remembered was the kitchen, the largest room in the house. Once in the kitchen, Price and Ghost shot a total of 5 men. Gaz swept the bathroom, but it was empty. The 4 members made their way to the back bedroom where they assumed Graves was held up in. Outside the door, they stood and waited, Price took a step back and kicked the door down as Gaz gave him cover, kneeling beside him. Once the door was open, the team entered the room, but it was empty. Price spoke frustratedly into the mic "Rudy, Graves isn't here, did he go out the windows?" "Negative Sir."
Once he got the 'all clear' from Rudy, Price turned to Ghost, "Go get her." He left the bedroom and ran towards the back of the house to the back door. When he opened the door, Soap and Alejandro were helping her walk. Throwing his gun over his shoulder he rushed over to her.
Ivy's POV
As she lay on the ground, she heard gunshots around her. The sounds made her body flinch, but she didn't move. Ivy just waited. Soap appeared next to her, helping her get to her feet. "We're gonna get you outta here Ms. Ivy." She struggled to look up at Soap, her heard felt heavy, but she managed. Alejandro appeared behind Soap holding his gun ready to fire, "Alejandro.." Ivy smiled weakly. "Mija! Glad to see you standing. Me and Rudy have been bored without you on card night." Ivy smiled again. The shooting stopped. She began to feel dizzy as Soap struggled to keep her standing. Alejandro assisted him and held the other side of her. Ivy was still struggling to stay conscious when she heard a door open. She looked up, everything was a blur. "Ivy?..." she heard a familiar and comforting voice, tried to focus her eyes. When they finally focused, she saw him. "Simon.."
He ran towards her. Upon reaching her, he lifted her up from under her armpits, she wrapped her legs around his waist, her arms around his neck and he held her tightly. "Simon..." she smiled squeezing her arms tighter around his neck and tears streamed down her face.
