Ivy's POV

Ghost and Ivy walked upstairs following Toast and walking into her room Ivy yawned. Ghost hugged Ivy from behind, putting his arms around her waist and his chin on her shoulder. "Why don't you take a nap?" he whispered in her ear. Putting her hand on Ghosts head and leaning into him, "That's a good idea." Ghost kissed her cheek, and she went to her bed and laid down. He bent down and put a blanket over her. "I'll be downstairs." "You're not gonna lay with me, Simon?" Ivy said with disappointment in her voice. "I can't, I've gotta talk to Price and Laswell. But I'll lay with you tonight okay?" Ivy nodded and got comfortable as Toast jumped on her bed with her. Ghost pet Toast before giving Ivy a kiss and went downstairs.

As Ivy slept, she dreamed of being with Graves again. Ivy was chained to the same bed she had been both times Graves kidnapped her. It was dark with a red hue that filled the room. She started to panic, and flailed her arms and legs to escape but couldn't. She sat up as she heard the door fly open and when she looked towards the door, she saw Graves coming at her fast. She tried to scream but nothing came out. When Graves reached the bed, he climbed on top of her, and put his face in hers. She could almost smell his musk and feel his breath on her face. "Ghost isn't helping you Ivy, you're mine now." Graves pulled her up by her hair, and she looked behind Graves. In the doorway was Ghost's lifeless body, covered in blood. His eyes were empty, his chest didn't rise, and his body was still. Her eyes widened, and tried to call out to him, but her voice got caught in her throat. Looking down, Graves grabbed her neck, pushed her down onto the bed and began squeezing the life out of her. Graves let her go and began to take her clothes off. Looking at the body on the floor, she called for him again unable to move, "Ghost! Get up! Please Simon!" Once her clothes were gone, Graves got on top of her again, and her vision slowly faded to pitch black.

Ghost's POV

While downstairs, Ghost was talking to Soap. "Price said they should be getting closer. They had a false ID this morning in China, but they saw some Shadows. Laswell sent some..." Ghost stopped as he and Soap looked at each other, in confusion. Is that Ivy?" After both men realized Ivy was screaming, they ran upstairs. Fearing the worst, Ghost and Soap pulled their pistols from their belts. When entering the room with their guns drawn, all they saw was Ivy asleep and screaming for Ghost. "Please Simon!" Walking to her bed, Ghost put his gun away, while Soap did the same and stood in the doorway. "Ivy," Ghost said gently, "Ivory, wake up." When Ivy didn't wake up, Ghost turned towards Soap, "What the fuck do I do?!" "I don't know Lt.!" Turning back to Ivy who was still shouting, he touched her shoulders, and gently shook her. Finally waking up, Ivy still screamed, trying to fight off the hands that were touching her. "Ivy! Ivy! It's me!" Ghost yelled trying to get her attention. Soap stepped into the room and tried to bring her back into reality along with Ghost as he stood beside him. After she finally looked around and noticed where she was, she stopped fighting but her body shook violently, her breathing was chaotic, and tears flowed down her face.

Ivy's POV

When she realized she was awake, she saw Soap and Ghost standing in front of her with their hands up and faces full of concern. "W-what happened?" Ivy's voice trembled and tears were still falling from her eyes. "You were yelling for me." Ghost said softly and Soap nodded. Brushing her hair out of her face and clutching her chest, "I.. Um.. I was having a n-nightmare o-of... Graves." Her words were strained. Ghost got closer to her, going slowly so he wouldn't startle her. "Are you okay, love?" Ivy nodded, "Do you need some water, Ivy?" Soap asked gently. and she nodded again. Soap turned and went downstairs to get her some. Ghost sat on the end of bed, "Do you wanna talk about it?" Ivy shook her head, and crawled towards Ghost, putting herself on his lap and cried into his shoulder. He lightly placed his hand on the back of her head to comfort her.

Once again Ghost was lost on how to help Ivy. He held her as she cried, but his mind couldn't form any comforting words. Was there really anything he could say?

Soap returned upstairs with water, "Here you go, Ms. Ivy.." Ivy's trembling hand grabbed the cup and drank it. "Thank you Soap." She tried to smile but it soon faded. Soap kneeled next to them, "do you need anything else?" Ivy shook her head. "Okay," he smiled gently, "I'll leave you two alone."

As Soap left the room, Ivy looked up at Ghost, "I'm sorry if I scared you..." Ghost shook his head gently, "Don't apologize, love." He stroked her hair. "I'm sorry I don't know how to help you..." Ghost's voice shuddered, trying to hold back tears as he blinked them away quickly. "You being here helps, Simon." "I'll always be here, Ivory."
