Lucas POV

"Christina, How was your day?" Mom talks to my little sister. "It was great, i passed my test this week." Chrissy smiles at mom.

"Oh great! Continue to do good." Christina is the last born, she's only fourteen and is mature for her age.

She grew up so fast it was like yesterday she was born. "Oh yes i forgot to mention Delilah was here this afternoon." Mom mentions.

Chrissy loves Dee so much. "Wait what? Lucas i was in my room all this evening and you didn't bother to call me when she was here. I wanted to talk to her." She mumbles.

"Next time I'll see." "He just like her!"Aaron shut out with a silly wink, "Momma!" I rolled my eyes.

"We all know that you like her" My mom and Chrissy says, not surprise at all. I'm not going to deny because i would be  lying. Yep. I like her.

I told God about her every single day. I start liking her two years ago. She doesn't know and I'll keep it that way until God tells me she's the one and when I'm ready for a relationship.

Even if it is. I won't go so fast either. I like taking my time. "Okay. I'll go to my room." I sigh. "Come on tell her you like her!" Aaron says.

"It's not time." I say. I get up and went to my bedroom. i put a gospel song and I get on my knees and start praying to my father.

"Father God, Jesus Christ. Thank you for this amazing day that you have given to me, family, friends. Thank you lord for being merciful, graceful and thank you for waiting on me and being patient with everyone in this world, you deserve all praises.

Jesus, I like her a lot like really a lot, I asked of you that you protect her precious soul, protect her wherever she's at and bring peace to her.

Lord I asked of you that you help her and my friends and anyone who's struggling with sin.

Lord I pray that you heal the sick and strengthen my faith in you and anyone else. I pray that you give wisdom and understanding of your words to anyone on this earth.

Glory to you lord. Amen." I turn off the speaker and head to my bed. _ It was 3am in the morning and I can't sleep so I decided to do a little quick prayer and start reading the Bible.

This lasted until it was 5am. I got up and pray again for this day. I do my morning routine as always and i got a message from Dee.

A big smile formed on my lips. I'm not surprised she texted me. We always wake up this early.

morning! Arise! Good morning to you.

A couple of minutes past and i was blow drying my hair and then my phone start ringing. It's Dee.

"Listen! God is so great! Well not just great but perfect. I was listening to a gospel song and i was really getting into the song."

I felt overwhelmed with the joy and love he had for me I had this morning. I can't wait to go to church, Sunday.

I'm counting the days." "What a beautiful experience you had today." I chuckle.

"You have such nice hair." She mumbles while putting her hair in two high puff. 

She's so cute. I immediately blush and cover my face for her not to notice.

"Thanks. What time is your class?" I asked. "10:30, but I'll walk you to your class and then I'll meet James." "Okay."

"I want your perfume so bad. Why ain't you recommending it to me." She asked, she is dressed with a long pink skirt and a white t-shirt. I walk to the kitchen with my phone.
