Delilah POV
Started my day as usual. I have work today at 8:30 am. I did my hair with two puffs. My parents came so late; I heard them arguing, but I couldn't hear, so I just went to sleep. I prayed and read the word of the day.

I grabbed my bag and went downstairs, seeing Malissa. She's a middle-aged lady who works for my parents. "Good morning." I kissed her cheek. "I haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been?"

"You know, college and work." I shrugged my shoulders. "Good to see you, though." I smiled at her.

She has been working for my parents for six years now. "Here is your healthy balanced breakfast." I thanked her for the food and ate.

"Where are my parents?" I asked. "Oh, they just went out an hour ago."

Weird but okay.

"Thank you, Melissa. Appreciate it." I hugged her goodbye.

I'm currently in my IT class and doing a test. I completely forgot to study, but all the information I learned, I have in my head somehow.

Not bad. If I can pass this, then I can pass my term. "10 minutes left." Mrs. William, she's very nice and sweet; I honestly like her a lot.

"That's enough for today; pass the paper, and you may leave." Everyone getting out of the class as the bell rang, "Hey, Mrs. William." I smiled at her.

"Delilah, I hope you pass this test; I saw the effort you made."

"I know." I left the class meeting James beside a locker. "Are you trying out for the singing contest?" James asked as we walked down the hall.

Honestly, I am not sure about it even though I love singing. I'm a bit nervous. "Not sure about it." I shrugged my shoulder.

"Can I get an American coffee, please?" One of the girls from table number 5 said with a smirk on her face while watching her two friends go back and forth.

"Yes, anything else?" I asked them; I was very confused what was going on. The girls were watching me up and down while giggling.

"Oh no, honey! I don't want to burden you." One of the girls laughing at me.

"Well, thank you. I will get your American coffee." I walked away, more likely walked quickly.

Those types of girls are foolish to make fun of me.

For what? I don't even know. I'm not mad at them or anything; it's just foolish.

Probably trying to impress each other. "One American coffee!" I shouted; the place was very noisy, and I had to shout.

"Here it is!" Micheal, a new friend of mine and coworker. He's so sweet.

Sad that he hasn't given his life to Christ. I hope he does. "Thank you. Michael!" I smiled at him brightly.

I walked up to the girls with a bright smile on my face. "Here is your order."

One of the girls, a blonde girl, with a short dress spoke to me harshly and also lied. "This isn't what I ordered." She scoffed.

"Sweetheart, this is exactly what you ordered. I think you forgot what you ordered." I said with a pleasant smile on my face.

I knew this would have come. "How dare you talk to me like that, waitress!" She blurted out and spilled the drink on my face.

I gasped, my whole face filled with coffee. I felt someone pull me back. "What is happening?" I heard a familiar voice.

I looked back. "Lucas?"

"This waitress ordered what I didn't want and talked to me rudely." The blonde girl twirled her hair and lifted her chest forward.

"You ordered an American coffee." I defended myself.
