I checked my phone and saw an Instagram notification that made my heart flutter and my stomach produce butterflies. Jake Manson has sent me an Instagram request, I accepted it once I sat down in my seat. I sat in the second row between Sophie and Kimberly while Hunter sat beside Kimberly, I placed my phone down and looked around to see if Eric would be here but instead I saw our professor come in. 

He was in his early 30s, he had brown short hair, and blueish eyes, he placed his back in the professor's chair and wrote his name. 

"Hello there everyone!" he said his Irish accent made it obvious that he was from Ireland, "My name is Brian Murray and I will be teaching you AP history." 

"He looks cute." Kimberly whispered to my ear 

I looked at her shockingly because this is the first name she found a professor cute. 

"Are you seriously crushing on our AP history professor now?" I asked her trying to listen to what he was saying 

"I mean i just find him cute and besides I like Liam now." She said whispering and grabbing her notepad and pen 

"Wait! What?" I said loudly that half of the class and the professor heard me 

He looked at me with his serious blue eyes and sighed 

"Do you have something to share Ms?" He asked not knowing my last name 

"Thompson." I said letting him know my last name 

"Ms. Thompson." He said in a serious manner, "Do you have anything to share with us?" He asked looking through the class 

"No sir." I said nervously 

"Take your seat then and talk quietly please!" He exclaimed, making sure I got his message 

"Yes sir." I said looking at what he is writing on the white board 

A knock on the door filled the room, I turned my head towards the entrance and it was Eric. He showed up, he had a clean cut look and his eyes fell onto mine. 

"May I know who you are?" Mr. Murray asked disrupting our moment 

"Oh uhm. My name is Eric Graham sir." He said looking at him and back at me 

"Take your seat." 

"Okay sir." He said walking to the third and sitting behind me 

I turned around and waved at him before looking in front blushing. 

"Do you have a crush on him?" Sophie whispered while noticing me blushing 

"I think I do." I said smiling and hearing him shuffle in his seat 

Sophie looked back and whispered, "He can't stop staring at you." 

I giggled quietly and listened to the professor until the end of class.  I grabbed my purse and waited for Kimberly and Hunter before going out of my seat. I stood up, walked towards the door until Eric called me. 

"Hey Mel." He said looking at me and at my friends 

"Hi Eric. What's up?" I asked him and watching the people walk out of the room 

"Are you free tonight?" 

I looked at him with a shocked look on my face because this is the first time seeing each other for awhile. I looked at my friends who was shocked as I was, I decided to pull him to the side and let him know my decision. 

"I am free but what did you have in mind?" I asked him wondering what he has planned for us 

"I was thinking dinner in Antonio's Italian Restaurant and a movie at the mall." He said sounding confident about his plan
