"This isn't the old ages anymore! Why do I need to marry in order to take the crown?!"
"Yoongi, stop it. Be respectful." Jin spoke calmly to the younger male. Yoongi sighed and sat back down across from his father.

"Your mother and I agreed long ago that in order to be a good fit for the throne, you need a good wife. All great kings have had great wives behind them. Without your mother I wouldn't have ruled as well as I did. Your queen will be the only"
Yoongi cuts his dad off with a sigh.
"The only one who will make me kneel, I know father. You remind us constantly. Jin is already married why can he not take the throne? He is the eldest after all." Jin shook his head at his brother.

"You know I don't have what it takes to rule. Yoongi, you're the only one out of us seven that has dreamed and trained to be king. You're the only one who has plans for the future of this kingdom." Yoongi sighs and nods his head at his eldest brother.

"We will all help as much as we can, we all still live together in the palace after all."
"And yet I still need a wife." Their father nodded his head.
"I understand it is not ideal, but it was your mothers dying wish to have you betrothed before taking the crown." Yoongi nodded silently once again.

"Why don't we have a ball? We can invite all of the princesses from allied kingdoms!" Jungkook spoke up.
"We could even invite maidens within our kingdom too!" Jimin and Jungkook giggled with each other and started to dance with each other while humming the waltz.

"That's not a bad idea boys. Namjoon, please arrange for letters to be sent out to every allied kingdom and have posters put around the village for the ball." Namjoon nodded his head and promptly left without a word.

"I guess the decision is made."
"Son, this decision was made before Hoseok was even born." Their father chuckled and left the room with his three youngest in tow raving about the ball.

"It might not be all that bad. What if you find a girl that you really like and fall in love?"
"Hoseok, be serious. How can anyone expect me to fall in love after exchanging a few pleasantries and a single dance in one evening? Besides I don't believe in love, and you know it. I know what people say about me too. I'm not fit to rule all because of my scar." Jin smacked Yoongi a bit causing him to groan.

"That scar is the only reason our father is alive."
"And the reason our mother is dead."
"Yoongi, you know that isn't true." Yoongi said nothing else as Jin and Hoseok exchange glances and sigh leaving Yoongi alone with his dark thoughts.
