"I didn't know either Naomi! I thought I would have more time here!"
"It's okay Y/N, I'm not mad. I'm just going to miss you. We've been together since we were children." You sighed and hugged your friend.
"Are you going to be okay? I'll try to come help with everything as much as I can.""Y/N. You'll be married and queen soon. Don't worry about me. You should worry about what comes after the wedding." She wiggled her eyebrows and you gasped and smacked her arm.
"I'm not doing that with him! We don't even like each other! He's only marrying me for the sake of marriage." Naomi rolled her eyes and hummed going back to the dress she was stitching up. A knock on the door caught your attention and you sighed."I guess this is goodbye then."
"Not goodbye, I'll be over as much as I can and I'm sure you could visit the castle sometimes." She nodded her head and grabbed your suitcase. You opened the door to Yoongi standing there with his fist raised like he was about to knock again. He cleared his throat and bowed showing Jungkook standing behind him looking around at the outside of your house."Hi noona!" He waved and smiled as Yoongi straightened and took your suitcase from Naomi.
"Oh my gosh you are just the cutest thing!" Naomi yelled and sped past you to the prince. You gasped as she latched onto Jungkook. She squished his cheeks giggling the way Taehyung had done to you the day before."Naomi! Don't touch the prince without permission!"
"It's okay noona. I like women's attention." Naomi quickly retracted her hands and took a large step back at the sight of Jungkooks smirk.
"Excuse him. He's a bit of a pervert sometimes. Hormones or something." Yoongi mumbled and Jungkook shot him a glare."I'm an adult so the hormones excuse doesn't work." The youngest prince crossed his arms and smiled. Yoongi smirked and stopped loading the car with your things and turned to him.
"So, you admit yourself just a shameful perv then?" Jungkook opened his mouth to speak but just ended up closing it again and frowned. After everything was loaded you hugged your lifelong friend goodbye and you stepped into the car. Yoongi and Jungkook bowed to her and followed into the car after you. The ride was silent except for Jungkook's singing along to the radio.
"You're a good singer Jungkook." He smiled at your compliment and sang louder. The ride to the palace was quick and before you knew it you were walking back in through the large expensive doors that you never thought you would ever cross through."Good evening your majesties." Yoongi and Jungkook nodded at the guards standing by the door and kept walking in.
"Hello again, Miss Y/N!" Hoseok beamed his bright smile in your direction, and you couldn't help but smile back.
"Hi Hoseok. It's nice to see you again." He hummed and grabbed the suitcase out of your hand.
"Let me help with that."You followed the three brothers up the grand staircase and down the hall to a room. The room was bare except for a vanity, a bed and two nightstands on either side of it. Jungkook and Hoseok set your things by the bed and left you and Yoongi alone.
Yoongi cleared his throat and set down the suitcase he was carrying with the others.
"We can go shopping sometime this week for things for your room." You nodded your head and sighed walking over to the large window in your room. The window overlooked the gardens. Tall green hedges were intricately woven throughout the space and beautiful flowers were expertly arranged everywhere. It was almost too uniform. The red tulips stayed with the red tulips, the violets were with the violets and so forth."Do you like flowers?" Yoongi's question caught you off guard. He had made it next to you and stared out at the gardens with his hands clasped behind his back.
"I do. I grew up gardening, I love tending to anything plant related." You smiled a bit at the memory of gardening with your parents at a young age.
"What is your favorite?"
"My favorite?"
Yoongi nodded his head, "your favorite flower." You thought for a minute about his question. You knew about every type of flower so picking a favorite was difficult."Queen of the night. It's a rare flower. It blooms only once every year and it only blooms at night. I've never had the chance to see one in person sadly." Yoongi kept quiet and only nodded his head. You both stood staring out over the garden in silence.
"Why a flower that only blooms at night?" He was looking at you now."Night can bring terrible things. People out to hurt others, sneaking, cheating, deceit. Night is when they tell you to remember to lock your doors and never go out alone. Night ignites fear but this flower, this beautiful flower changes that perspective. It gives people something that isn't so heinous at night." A sad smile adorned your face as you faced Yoongi. He had this intimidating look written on his face like he was calculating everything you said.
"Did something happen to you?" His question didn't surprise you with everything you had just laid out. You simply smiled and shook your head. You had already spilled your heart once today over a flower. He didn't need to know of your past. It didn't matter anyways, why would a prince care about a common girl's life? This was a forced marriage, you reminded yourself. Yoongi sighed sensing it to be a sensitive topic and headed for the door.
"I'll leave you to yourself, a maid will come when dinner is finished." He left without another word. Leaving you to your thoughts staring over the garden as the sun began to set.
