Yoongi POV
"You may now kiss the bride!" Y/Ns hands had been shaking the entire ceremony but at the officiants words they trembled even more. She looked up at me with wide innocent eyes as if she had forgotten about this part. Time seemed as though it stopped, and I could no longer hear anything else around us.Glancing down at her pink lips I so desperately wanted to kiss them. These feelings I had been ignoring since the day I met her were stronger than ever. The tight dress that hugged her curves made me want to rip it off of her. Trying to keep my eyes from wandering proved difficult throughout the ceremony.
Gently, I cupped her face and her eyes shut immediately, her entire body trembling as I leaned in towards her. Breath fanning my face as I got within an inch of her, I forgot about the people watching as I stopped in place and waited. I wanted her to open her eyes, I wanted to see her gorgeous eyes when I kissed her lips. As if hearing my thoughts, she peaked her eyes open in confusion.
"Yoongi?" She whispered. I didn't answer her as I kept my eyes locked with her and connected our lips. My gaze locked hers as I kissed her and I watched as her eyes dilated and closed, her body leaning into the kiss. I closed my eyes as I pressed harder against her. Cheers and whistles brought us out of our trance, and I pulled away. I was sure my face was red but probably not as bad as Y/Ns right now.
"Maybe you should save the rest for tonight." Namjoon patted my back and snickered with the rest of my brothers. Rolling my eyes, I took Y/Ns hand in mine as we made our way down the aisle as husband and wife.
In the ballroom I sat in my seat not really knowing what to do. My brothers were all off mingling and Y/N had disappeared shortly after making our way into the room. Women eyed me up and down and whispered to each other as if I couldn't clearly see them talking about me. I hated people talking about me. It was always the same thing, my scar, my past.
Stressed I decided to drink, it was my wedding after all. Three drinks in and I felt better, lighter. Jin had come by and talked to me while his wife danced with Y/N and Naomi. Y/N seemed to be less stiff around them. I could see the liveliness in her that didn't show much when I was around.
Did I make a mistake choosing her? What if she resents me for forcing her into this life? What if-
"And now it is time for the first dance as husband and wife! Please give a round of applause for Mr. And Mrs. Min!" Jimin and Jungkook were going to pay for this later. I shot them both a glare as they snickered into the microphone, both clearly drunk. I made my way to the center of the room meeting Y/N. I bowed as she curtsied, and the song began. It was a slow dance. Her eyes watched her surroundings, and I could tell she hated being the center of attention. The eligible elites obviously didn't like the idea of her being queen or my wife.I lightly turned her face towards me and away from judging eyes as we danced.
"Ignore them. Pay attention to me." She nodded her head. Soon others joined in on the dance and we were mostly concealed in the center.
"So, Mr. Min, does this mean I'm officially a princess?" Her words were playful, her breath smelled of red wine. Looks like I wasn't the only one who found relaxation in alcohol tonight.
"You became a princess the day you agreed to marry me. Though if you want to be technical then yes, officially as of today you are princess Min Y/N, future queen of Bangtan." She rolled her eyes."Min Y/N sounds dumb. You should have married someone more fitting of your last name."
"I think it suits you. Sounds like royalty."
"That's because you ARE royalty Mr. Min. Of course, adding the last name would make me sound like royalty too." Y/N smiled.
"Semantics my dear."
"Pet names already my dear husband? I am flattered." She giggled as I dipped her as the song ended and another one started."Care to accompany me for a drink?" Her request caught me off guard. The playful look on her face told me she probably has had too much to drink already but I was dying to have her open up to me more. I craved getting to know her more and honestly, I was borderline tipsy also.
"If you wish." She grabbed onto my arm as we walked to the bar.
Most of the people had cleared out by now. Hours had passed and we decided to end the reception since it was late."Thank you all for coming to my son's wedding. We appreciate your continued support and hope to see you at the crowning ceremony." My father spoke to the lingering crowd as I and my brothers stood beside him and bowed. Once everyone had started to leave, I decided to go search for Y/N. After a few drinks, Naomi had stolen her away and I haven't seen her since.
"Namjoon, have you seen Y/N?"
"Not since your dance why?" I rolled my eyes at his carelessness. He was supposed to be the smart and aware one of us seven.
"Have you seen Naomi then?" A dorky smile grew on his face.
"Oh! She said she was going out for some air in the garden." I nodded my head and headed for the garden. Y/N loves the garden of course she would be there. On my way out I bumped into Naomi, she gave a sloppy curtsy as she swayed and stumbled.
"Your wife is in the garden. She is quite drunk but so am I, so I need to head home." I watched as the girl stumbled off towards Namjoon and continued my way to the bench at the center of the garden."What makes her so special?"
"Of all the girls he chooses a street rat."
"Once a street rat, always a street rat." I turned the corner to see Y/N on the ground looking up at three women. Judging by their clothing they were obviously nobility. The girl at the front dumps her wine onto Y/Ns head and my anger surged.
"What the fuck do you three think you're doing?" Four pairs of eyes widened towards me, but I was only focused on Y/N."Are you okay?" I crouched down to check on her, but she flinched away from my hand. Standing up I faced the three that were harassing my wife.
"Princess Sang. Daughter of King Sang Kan and third in line for the throne. Accompanied by your two younger sisters I see. Causing trouble in my kingdom?" The siblings stood silently staring at the ground.
"I wonder how dear Mr. Kan would feel hearing that his children were caught assaulting the future queen of Bangtan, the ally kingdom that provides 70% of your remote villages food and 85% of your exports? It would be a shame to see your entire family dethroned because their princess was the cause of her kingdom starving to death in poverty all because she was a desperate greedy slut." The girls all stood wide eyed with tears silently traveling down their face. I stepped closer and leaned in."If I ever catch you around my wife doing anything less than worshipping the floor she walks on, I will personally see to it that all business with Sang Kingdom will cease, and your fate will be at the mercy of my wife. Got it?!" Nodding their heads, the three ran off. I stood straight and tried to reel in my temper as I spun around and crouched down towards a sobbing Y/N. Wordlessly I scooped her up off the floor and carried her through a side entrance to avoid embarrassment.
"Let's get you cleaned up. It is your wedding night after all, you should be pampered and treated like a queen." Her sobs quieted as she relaxed in my hold as we made our way to my bedroom.
