[epilogue]
Eliza survived cancer by losing all of her hair to undergo the highest level of chemotherapy.
Eliza did not attend the first semester of school. Chemotherapy drained her of energy and teachers for school came to visit her all the time. Her friends always texted her, telling her how much they missed her funny personality at school. People put pictures on social media of Eliza telling people to pray for her and her battle through cancer. Her friends visited her and filled her in on drama, and people they had unfriended. Eliza's once dull room became lively filled up with cards tacked on the wall, all shouting "Get Well Soon". Slowly deflating balloons were tied to the ceiling, brightly telling Eliza to get well soon. Her instagram comments were all "Stay Stong Gorgeous xx"
The boy texted her everyday. He said he could not wait to see her smile. Then Eliza would send him a silly picture of her smiling and say "I'm right here silly". He would say that he could not wait to hear her laugh. Then Eliza would send him a video of her laughing and say "here you go". Even though Eliza was bald, with some peach fuzz, he still called her beautiful, despite all her protests.
Her family all became fascinated at how Eliza had been staying strong while keeping the cancer a secret from the family. Her family came down every month to check on her.
God. Eliza became closer with Him. She prayed the same prayer every night.
"Jesus, please forgive me. I was selfish enough to think I have no purpose on this Earth. I was selfish enough to want to leave this Earth. Thank you for healing me, when I did not deserve it. Thank you for giving me a second chance. Amen."
Eliza had to hit rock bottom in order to realize that God wanted her to seek Him, and He would provide. The people who hated her, still hated her.
But despite them, Eliza realized that she was loved.a/n ; there is going to be a rewritten epilouge with a different story ending so stay tuned please . There's also and authors chapter .
