The incessant beeping sound jolted me awake, tearing through the fog of my deep sleep I peeled my eyes open in confusion, barely believing that I was in the hospital. Memories rushed back to me with a jolt of pain, a deep sadness hollowing out my chest.

Glancing out the window I caught sight of a ray of sunshine flooding through the curtains, but with it came a heavy realization that Twisha wasn't with me. The sound of the monitor continued as a nurse scampered into the room, inspecting my readings. She smiled reassuringly,

"It looks like you're going to be alright. We'll just do some tests, monitor for a few days and you can be on your way."

But that wasn't what I wanted.Fury boiled inside me and I knew that the moment she left, I would leave too, even if it was against doctor's orders. My heart was pounding as I reached for the doorknob, determined to find my way to Twisha. I was prepared to explain my actions and try to make reparations. Knowing it wouldn't be easy, but still, a spark of hope flared in my chest.

My heart longed to go back to her, no matter the cost. With every ounce of energy left in me, I tugged on the handle and pulled, only to find two security guards standing in my way. Surveying my surroundings, I searched for a way out, only to realize that there was no escape. At first a wave of despair crashed over me but then determination rose up and refused to be quelled.

Ignoring the warnings of the hospital staff, I ran out of the entrance and set out on my journey. With every step, a fresh surge of adrenaline ran through my veins and I felt like I could take on anything. Despite the extreme odds against me, I was determined to reach her.

Each stride outside felt like an eternity, but I kept running until the hospital was out of sight. My heart soared with a sudden wave of anticipation, knowing that the cure to my misery was within reach. I was certain that if I made it to her everything would be alright. I had to go to her no matter what - even if it meant walking the entire distance.

My strength began to waiver and my doubts crept back in as I trudged onward, but still I pressed forward. Nothing could divert me from my goal; Twisha awaited me at the end of this long journey and it would be worth all the struggles. With an iron will, I kept walking.

My steps were heavy and my heart was in my throat as I approached the clinic. The ache in my body was matched only by the roiling turmoil within my mind. Sweat beaded on my forehead as I pushed through the doors, a rush of adrenaline urging me on. I didn't know what would happen when I walked in, but I knew she was the only one who could save me.

I heard the receptionist gasp as soon as she saw me and soon security rushed in to apprehend me. My body begged me to give up, but I pushed past them, determined to reach her. The guards seized me, but no matter how much they restrained me nothing could take away my strength and conviction.

My feet pounded against the ground as I fought against their grip, desperation and determination both coursing through me. For two decades I had been trying to fix what was broken inside of me, and now, finally, I knew each step I took towards Twisha would be the last for this journey.

Then she appeared in front of me, worry filled her eyes, freezing me in that moment like time stood still. A sudden wave of electricity surged through me, its power radiating from my quaking palms with the might of a thousand suns.

My entire being felt inexplicably connected- as if I was home once more and everything just made perfect sense. The feeling persisted and I suddenly found myself involuntarily walking towards her, but I was halted by Robert. That was when I noticed both Robert and Sam had been present this entire time.
