Sam and I raced to Nainor. There had been a change in Xavier but never in our wildest nightmares had we expected it to take him here. He had been bad before, but we had always assumed that it would pass as usual.
Everywhere I looked I imagined danger, expecting the worst to come true at any moment. A million questions swirled through my mind but all I could hope for was this to be a false alarm.
The thought of Xavier in danger made my heart freeze; my entire body felt weak and vulnerable. In that mindset of complete helplessness, I texted Dad with the news of what was happening here.

Reaching the hospital it was obvious that Sam was not in his right state of mind. The sight of his frozen figure, his wide eyes frantically searching the hospital for something he couldn't even name was painful.I quickly recovered, approached the reception desk and asked for Xavier's details.
The receptionist gave us directions to Xavier's room and I grabbed a hold of Sam, almost dragging him from his trance-like state. We found that Xavier was unscathed, and upon entering the room, all my fear melted away, finding Xavier stable with just a superficial wound.
The on-call doctor further mentioned that Dr. Twisha Kapoor, a psychiatrist, had been in consultation with Xavier when he sustained his injury. Immediately my heart filled with rage and resentment towards the doctor who, despite being present, had failed to protect her patient from harm. It was complete negligence and I was ready to give her a piece of my mind.
*********
As soon as we stepped into Dr. Kapoor's office, my heart raced as I was captivated by her presence and aura. She seemed to draw me in like a magnet, and I felt my rage and hostility evaporate. My eyes were glued to her as I took in her commanding presence.
It was not lust, infatuation or beauty that held such power over me, but something else, something unexplainable that gave me courage beyond what I had ever thought I was capable of. The air around her pulsed with an energy that was like nothing I had ever experienced before.
She glanced at me, and my heart stopped -her gaze penetrated through the deepest level of my being and dismantled all my defenses. I wanted to disclose every secret I had ever kept, her velvety voice wrapping around me like a warm embrace as she went on to explain the sensitivity of the situation at hand, and the precautions that she had taken to treat Xavier.
She revealed her experience in treating critical cases with patience and passion, and with each word that left her mouth I felt myself being drawn deeper into her world of wisdom, grace and poise - it seemed as if I had seen divinity manifest in flesh.
She reassured us about Xavier's safety and the strict protocols being followed by her and her team. Her tone was so tranquil and understanding, she seemed to comprehend us and our worries.
Her gentleness and sympathy put me at ease as she offered detailed consultations for the following day. I, however, needed a moment to collect myself before continuing any further, so I didn't do anything rash.
Before I could utter a single syllable, a commotion outside broke the silence and we raced to see what was occurring. As I stood in front of the door, my jaw dropped as I caught sight of Xavier barricaded by five imposing men,his gaze firmly fixed upon Dr. Kapoor.
My petrified expression remained unchanged as I witnessed their exchange.
At that moment, I saw something new in Xavier's sapphire-blue eyes - an emotion that I had never seen before. It was a mix of longing, relief, and a hint of admiration that seemed to take him aback - a rare crack in the veneer of his stoic indifferent face. The corners of his lips twitched in almost a smirk, as if to acknowledge the power of this beautiful woman.
