James

Having had too many butterbeers, Estella and I walked around outside Hogsmeade laughing at a joke she told. We were both tipsy and in amazing moods, talking about everything from our Professor's past relationships to our dating history. However, both of us didn't have much to say on that topic.

Estella agreeing to come out with me was the best thing that has ever happened to me, because after getting bored in Hogsmeade, we headed back to the castle and joined some friends, including the Marauders, Mary Macdonald, Lily Evans, and Marlene McKinnon. Estella was the only Slytherin there in the mysterious room we had all found out of nowhere.

This room was rather nice, with a fireplace, cozy couches, blankets, pillows, and mugs of premade hot chocolate on the coffee table. It was like it knew we all were tired of hanging out in the common room all the time.

While our group roamed the castle for a  hangout spot, Estella stuck with Sirius and I; The only two people who she knew. Well, she knows Remus, I know that. I was upset with Moony secretly for weeks after he got high with her, but I know she doesn't view him like that...at least I hope not.

But the night was fun, Sirius got a snog from Mary and talked about it all night. Marlene seemed to have her eyes on Remus for most of the night, and Peter and Lily had a most boring conversation about Muggle Politics.

Love was definitely in the air, and Estella and I both knew it but never spoke of it. The whole night Stella was rather uiet to be honest, but that's because she hardly knew anyone. I included her in as many conversations as I could, and was determined to make her feel welcome and comfortable.

After Sirius and her snook away to smoke a blunt, she seemed much more loose and less uptight. She sat very close next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder even; though that was probably because she was high out of her mind, but still. And now I fancy her more than ever.

Estella Black went out with me. That's something I never thought I'd be able to say, but something I am very thankful that I can say.

"Mate, I don't even know how to describe it. I would do anything for her. Even gnaw my own leg off. She is the girl of my  bloody dreams!" I exclaim to Sirius about Estella.

"Have you guys gone out since Valentines day?" He inquires.

"No. It's been a week, but I'm gonna ask her out soon. She's talked to me more though!"

"Oh yeah, when?"

"Er, in Transfiguration she asked to borrow a uill, and she said good night last night...she doesn't fancy me as much as she said she did, does she?"

"James, James, James," Sirius shakes his head. "She's scared her sisters are gonna see you together. Our family is insane, if they see her conversing with you, she'd be kicked aside just like I was. And Estella still cares about family, so she's obviously struggling because she feels obliged to choose between you or her family, you know?"

"I guess, I just wish every single night that we could be together, be openly together, and not have to worry."

"I don't worry," Sirius flops himself onto the red couch in the common room and drapes one leg over the side of it. "I just stopped caring."

"Is it bad that I want Estella to stop caring?"

"I don't know. Ask her,"

"I can't ask her that, she won't let me near her for long enough to speak more than two words."

Sirius groans and sits up.

"She's in the library nine pm to one am on Thursdays, tomorrow is Thursday. Go to the library within that time slot and you guys will be the only ones there. Bring tea or coffee, there's lit candles in there, make it a date. Talk with her about you guys." He spits out all in one breath.
