"I heard you guys didn't got along pretty well." Mrs. Wright begins.

I gave Nathaniel an accusing look and then I turned my now puppy eyes back to Mrs. Wright as if telling her 'it was all his fault.'

"I didn't do anything." He shrugged.

"Hah." I rolled my eyes and said, "did to!"

"Did not." He said in a relaxed tone not even bothering to look at me like I was doing to him.

"Did to!" This guy's getting into my nerves! How can he seem to be so cool about this?

"Did n--"

Nathaniel was stopped by Mrs. Wright's laughter. We both turned to her in confusion.

"You two look like you're in a lover's quarrel." She explained. And it made me recoil.

"We are not together." I informed her. Of course, emphasizing the word 'together' making it sound like tuh-ge-derr.

"Totally not." For the first time in my life he agreed to what I said. But then he added, "although she kissed me a few days back."

I winced. "EXCUSE ME?!" I stood up. "I kissed you?!" I let out a sarcastic laugh. "Mrs. Wright I feel terrible to say this but I didnt know you have such egotistic students in here!" I quoted a phrase he said earlier, "To save you from false information, he kissed me on my first day. And that humiliated me for the coming days, and weeks, and months in this school. With that he should be punished a life long of community service." I tilted my head a little bit to the opposite direction of Nathaniel's.

"I think you two just need a little bonding." And before anyone of us could say anything in response she raised a hand so as to say this is her time to speak. "I have heard from Mr. Black everything that happened earlier in your class so there's no need for a review on that."

As I sat back on my chair, she stood up from hers, walked around her table and stopped just in front of us. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and gave Nathaniel and I a knowing smile. "You know, I've had cases like yours before. And I must say, what I've recommended to them actually worked."

Nobody spoke for a few seconds. She continued, "I suggest you get to know each other for a little while. The both of you should join an organization that's isolated from your friends, so the two of you would be left with no choice but to rely on one another or interact and meet other people. Either way is a win-win thing. And before any violent reaction, that's not a question -- it's an order. Also, I will talk to Mr. Black and some of your instructors to help you through this. You'll know what I mean by that sooner. Hang out, get to know each other. By the end of the month I want the both of you to come back here and tell me what had changed in the entire time."

I cannot believe my ears. An organization that's just the both of us? Im sure as hell whoever is handling that club will report to her so that we cant cheat and have our friends on the same club. Ugggh. Bond? I dont, and never will, bond with someone like him! He's an arrogant pig!

"You may go." She turned her back on us and we reluctantly stood up. I walked ahead but I still heard Mrs. Wright calling Nathaniel.

"Nathaniel, how was the kiss?" She asked like a teenager who's asking her bff for details.

I twisted the knob open when he answered in a suave tone, "Surprisingly good."

"I thought so." I heard Mrs. Wright just before I left the room.

Good? He thinks it is? Walking back to my next class I raised my hand and touched my lips. I could feel the soft lips of Nathaniel pressed unto them. I felt my cheeks burning. I shook my head and waved off the thought in my head.
