I wake up to start a new day, you know, being a boss.

"Let's go, before you're late, Ms. Song." Sunghoon says, waiting by the front door as I put my coat on.

"Ok, Sunghoon, I know." I say, making sure to give a little attitude since he wants to be on and off with his personality. I watch him roll his eyes and look away.

"I saw that, Sunghoon. Watch it." I say and he side eyes me before fully turning away from me. I finally walk out to the door and get into the car to take me to work. I would have assumed that after our nice day on Monday, Sunghoon would warm up to me or at least, we would have a simple understanding of each other but, no. He went right back to short answers and replies and being bossy and annoying.

I just wish we could get along but at the same time, I don't take well to bad attitudes either. He probably thinks I have a bad attitude but is unaware of his own.

"We are here, Ms. Song." Sunghoon says, I don't say anything and just get out of the car.

"Thank you Mr. Lee, have a good day." I say to the driver and walk straight into the company building. I'm already not in a good mood.

"Good morning Ms. Song!" The receptionist says and I smile.

"Good morning." I say, making my way up to my office.

I walk into my office to find a strange man standing, facing my chair.

"Excuse me sir, unless you have an appointment, I would love to know why you are standing in my office." I say, Sunghoon finally walks in and puts his arm around my stomach from in front of me as a sign of protection.

"Good morning, Song Ahra. If I'm not mistaken, your father is Song Jinyoung, mother is Song Seyoung." The man says, turning around and revealing an unfamiliar face.

"You have 30 seconds to state your purpose or my bodyguard will shoot you." I say, my face blank but I'm actually freaking out inside.

"Well, one of my men was killed with a gun from this company, how are you gonna compensate for the loss of my worker, huh?" The guy says, tilting his head.

I let out a breathy chuckle. Is this guy serious.

"How about this, you buy a gun from this company and kill the guy who killed your guy with it. Oh, and one more thing, get the fuck out of here and don't come back or my threat will become a reality." I say, raising an eyebrow and the man nods with a smile.

"I like that answer, I will be investing into this company often." He says, but I don't drop the harsh glare as he walks out. I finally let out the breath I was holding in.

"Gosh, that was scary." I say, but I realize Sunghoon's arm is still around me and he's facing forward.

"Mr. Park, you can let go now." I say, feeling my heartbeat speed up out of nowhere.

"Oh, shit, sorry." He says, moving his arm and then facing me. My heart finally slowed down but then we made eye contact and it sped up again, skipping a beat from how fast it sped up. I let out a sharp breath as Sunghoon just looks down into my eyes.

"Can I help you Mr. Park?" I ask, looking in his eyes.

"No, just, um.. If something like that happens again, you shouldn't say things that'll make them angry. Also, I'll check the room, see if there is anything harmful planted in here." He says, walking away and examining the room.

Gosh, what the heck was that? That was really weird.

"Ms. Song." Sunghoon calls me.

"Oh.. uh, yeah?" I ask, snapping out of my thoughts.
