Sonic's body was arching with electricity as the wind howled angerly around them. The storm raged above the two hedgehogs as they were staring at each other. Without another word, Sonic grinned and rocketed from his spot.

Shadow's eyes widened as he gritted his teeth, his breath held as when he moved to the side everything felt like it was in slow motion as Sonics sharp claws just barely grazed Shadow's cheek. Time quickly returned to normal and Shadow angerly sneered whipping his head and body to face Sonic who was already facing him. Sonic gave no time and went for yet another attack.

Shadow would duck and dodge the hedgehog's slashes and kicks. He had a scowl on his face, focusing on trying to not get hit by the other. As Sonic kept attacking he quickly paused and gripped his head in pain. Shadow paused and perked his ears. His quills dripped from the rainwater as he looked at Sonic. Shadow was confused and slowly approached. Sonic fell to his knees and held his head and began to yell for this to stop. Tails perked his ears hearing Sonic's voice and he peeked his head behind the tree.

Shadow cautiously approached Sonic, when he was within arms reach Shadow cocked his head to the side slightly raising his brow slightly. " Sonic...?" He asked skeptically.

Before Shadow had the chance to react Sonic quickly grabbed Shadow's ankle and chuckled " SIKE-!" he stood up gripping Shadow's ankle and threw him over his shoulder before slamming him harshly into the ground. Shadow grunted loudly as he hit the ground harshly. Dirt and mud flew up into the air from the impact. Shadow's vision was blurry from the mud obscuring his eyes. Shadow with his free leg twisted his body Kicking Sonic in the jaw to get him to let go.

Sonic winced in pain and he briefly let go of him. This was enough time to have Shadow quickly get up from his spot, grab Sonic by his face, and threw Sonic harshly into the mud he was just in. Shadow took a step back as he wiped his face and shook himself to try and get the mud off of his face and eyes. Sonic whipped his face out of the mud and spat out mud. He angrily growled as he got up.

Shadow smirked. " that's right- come and get me-" he spoke coldly before he turned and rocked out of the spot. Sonic huffed harshly through his nose and wiped his face before he jumped out of the mud and took off running after Shadow.

Shadow flicked his ear as he felt the hair on the tip of his ears begin to stand, he quickly swerved to the side as lighting struck the ground. Shadow had a face of focus as he kept running. Looking back to see Sonic quickly catching up. Shadow narrowed his eyes and as Sonic was just in arms reach Shadow quickly turned in front of him kicking Sonic in the shin causing Sonic to crash to the ground and skid.

Shadow chuckled lowly as he skidded to a halt. " Is this seriously it? You're usually much harder to handle than this Sonic."

Sonic slowly got up and angrily bared his teeth. " Shut up-" He spoke as his body quickly arched with electricity making a bright enough light to briefly blind Shadow as his eyes were adjusted to the dark.

Sonic took no time to waste and he quickly ran and grabbed Shadow by the neck and unleashed a volley of electricity from his hands. Shadow inhaled sharply as shut his eyes and gritted his teeth. Shadow gripped Sonic's arm and desperately tried to shock the other back in the hope they would let him go. However, it quickly became a test of endurance. Sonic grinned as he only has to squeeze Shadow's neck more.

Tails shut his eyes and gritted his teeth as his hands balled into fists. He couldn't just stand there and let this happen, Shadow is still an ally.
