Bickering Concerns

Sonic took a deep breath as he ran his hands through his quills. A frown on his face as guilt gripped at his heart for the dark hedgehog who vanished. His hands fell to his side as his brow furrowed. Beginning to think more about the situation.

Sonic stood in silence staring where Shadow once stood. Sonic's expression softened as he began to be lost in his thoughts. Thinking about everything that has happened in the past few days. However, his train of thought was broken when he heard rapid footsteps approaching him.

Sonic blinked a few times as he swiveled his ears behind. Quickly the hedgehog turned his head to see Amy running towards Sonic, with Knuckles following suit, yelling at Amy to stop and that he was " kidding".

Sonic blinked confused before he realized quickly Amy was closing the distance. Gritting his teeth sonic took a step back as Amy seemed to angerly yell Sonic's name. Sonic flattened his ears quickly as his body posture grew defensive. Amy skidded to a halt in front of the blue blur.

 Amy jabbed her pointer finger at his scar and angerly spoke to the confused hedgehog. " ARE YOU KIDDING ME! "

 She barked her anger mixed with concern as she continued to speak. " YOU CANT JUST DECIDE NOT TO TELL ANYBODY ABOUT THE FACT YOU COULD'VE DIED?!"

Sonic blinked a few times before making an awkward smile. " Ah- uh I was...gonna do that, but uh, you were with Cream and I didn't want her to get scared or upset."

Sonic quickly retorted back hoping the excuse was enough to quell Amy's concerned rage.

Amy narrowed her eyes as she put her hands on her hips. " FINE- that's an okayish reason to not tell me right away- but the fact I had to get knuckles to even get information from you when it's this serious is ridiculous! Knuckles even said you were crying!"

 Sonic perked his ears as he quickly whipped his head to look at his friend. The blue blur glared at Knuckles.

Knuckles was one to awkwardly smile when he was looked at, he quietly replied to Amy " uh... Amy, that was a joke...I said that he wasn't but you keep ignoring me."

 Amy put her hand out, her pointer finger in Infront of Knuckles' face. " Shut- I don't care if it was a joke! For all I know your covering for him-" her finger turned to point at Sonic " Because SOMEONE doesn't like sharing his feelings!"

Sonic flattened his ears again as he spoke in a more softer tone. " Amy, I get it, you're annoyed I don't share my emotions but it's really not something you need to worry about. I usually can regulate myself quite well.. you're kinda making a big deal...over nothing."

Sonic huffed softly as he placed his own hands on his hips. " Besides... You should know Knuckles is awful at timing the delivery for jokes ... I even told that knucklehead not to say that for this reason.."

He huffed as he moved to scratch his ear and closed his eyes. " Besides if I was crying, you'd tell, my face gets redish when I'm done."

Amy blinked a few times as her composure softened. ".mmmm-oo..okay F-Fine. that is a logical point to make.."
