The Perfect Shinobi (Part 3)

Lost Memories in the Long Grass.

Naruto was in his office waiting for certain people to arrive. Hiruzen was sitting on the couch smoking his pipe. The former Hokage was enjoying his retirement. He now trained Konohamaru regularly, and he spends more time with his family. The Hokage position drove a wedge through his relationship with his family. He didn't have Naruto's speed with paperwork after all.

Naruto is looking over the village from his chair. It's something every Hokage has done. It's like the chair reprogrammed their minds. The village was now completely rebuilt. The crater was filled in and the upgrades were finished. The new Rain sector was also built, and the walls were expanded a fraction. Konan had decided to stay a while back, so she was made an elite Jonin and the head of the Rain sector. Her Jonin vest was black with Akatsuki clouds on it. It was to pay homage to Nagato and Yahiko.

Naruto heard a knock on the door. "Come in." The door opened and in came Shisui, Itachi, and Kakashi.

"It's good to see you three." Naruto says. "I have a mission for you."

"Is it like your last mission to the Frost?" Shisui asks.

"It's the next phase of that mission." Naruto pulls out a scroll and unrolls it on his desk. The scroll showed a map of the Land of Frost and the surrounding nations like the Land of Grass. "We retook the Land of Frost a few weeks back so now the next objective is the Land of Grass. The Kage's and I have decided that we should attack again and not give the enemy a chance to plan." Naruto explains.

"What are the details?" Kakashi asks.

"You three can figure out leadership, but you will be sent to the Land of Frost to set up the attack. You will have a battalion of 3,000 total shinobi from across the nations mostly Kumo due to their location. I need you to go through the border of the lands and attack this outpost. After that there are five other major outposts outside of the village." Naruto points at six bases on the map. "That's where their first line of defense will be. 

"Then when you reach the village odds are they will have a barrier protecting it. So, I want each of you to have eight of these seals to counteract the barrier." Naruto places a stack of seals on the table. "Also, if Zetzu happen to infiltrate your ranks, then use these scrolls." Naruto places two scrolls on the table next to the seals.

"Is there any other shinobi who can lead among our men?" Itachi asks.

"Yugito will be there along with, Konan, Ao, C of the Cloud, Choza Akimichi, Hiashi Hyūga, Ebisu, and Akatsuchi of the Stone. They will all follow your lead. I recommend splitting up the forces into three smaller battalions that each of you lead." Naruto says.

"When do we leave?" Shisui asks.

"I want you in the hidden Frost within the week. From there I want you to take back the Grass within a month. I don't care how long it takes to prep I just want the village liberated." Naruto orders.

The three commanders nod and leave the office. Hiruzen smiled at Naruto from his place on the couch as the three powerful shinobi left.

A week later the three Leaf Shinobi were in the Land of Frost with their battalions. They split up the group into three large groups. Kakashi had Konan, and C. Shisui had Yugito, Ebisu, and Hiashi. And Itachi had Ao, Akatsuchi, and Choza.

The plan was that Kakashi would take a specialized group from his battalion to take the first outpost. Then Itachi and Shisui would follow with their specialized groups and attack two of the other outposts. The forces would then regroup with the main force.
